  2. Enthusiastic and fun loving guy. Fellow 'A' section mate. A good friend. Does what he wants and is pretty straight about his thoughts. Talks his heart out directly and that makes him easier to handle. No double standards and that is the best thing about him. Proud to be a part of AFK(Adi Fan Club):p

  3. I have always admired Aditya for the fact that he is blunt and honest about everything, and in a world where you never know what the truth is; it is truly an asset. He plays cricket well, and follows the game like only a true cricket fan would. His hard working nature and sincerity is hardly a secret. Recently, I was fortunate to see another side of this guy; and it was indeed a pleasant surprise.

I won’t ever forgive you for making me the teacher! :P Wish you all the very best for the future!

  4. I had known Adi as the “aggressive, blunt and honest” guy as others have correctly pointed. But the two months of internship with him completely changed my thoughts. I guess he is one of the best persons when you really need a friend beside you. He is very caring and would go beyond limits to help you. He grasps things really quickly and has great communication skills. I cannot forget your enthusiasm in organizing the Bangalore meet.

I knew more of you in the 2 months in Bangalore than the 2 years at college. Would always cherish the time spent with you.

“All the best for the life ahead. Do keep in touch”

  5. My groupmate of 2 years, Adi is the one with who will speak his mind no matter what! Initially, I was actually scared of him, thinking that he might thrash me in front of the entire group for even the smallest mistake I make. I secretly prayed to God to spare me from his anger spells and I was actually saved :P On a serious note, a very sincere and hardworking guy with an inclination towards Finance and this I think saved our group from the regular Accounts and Fin assignment terrors. Now, I can bravely say that I am NOT scared of him anymore! Adi, all the very best for a wonderful life ahead and I will pray to God to grant you everything that you wish for.

  6. Meet Mr. Vishwanathan, Aditya Vishwanathan. He is a completely koool character ( my due apologies for such non-offensive usage of this word) and has a Zero-tolerance towards any kind of nonsense , be it his fellow batchmate or any Proff. Every time there is an intricate problem of qunats analysis, the Zillion neurons in his mind would form peculiar formation and find out the answer in fractions of second. Finally , when he utters the answer in the class, it is being done with such a conviction that it appears as if Rajnikanth is speaking out the Gospel truth and finally seals the answer saying ' I told u naa, Yaana Rascala ', leaving no room for errors and mistakes. A finance enthusiast and a sport loving person who is always so cheerful and energetic. Wish you a great career ahead !!

  7. He always has an opinion, about all things. More importantly , he will never hold himself back from voicing his opinion. I admire this in him and it takes a lot of guts to be that way.

We've had many sporting discussion right from "How Ravindra Jadeja is ruining the Indian team ( and now will ruin CSK :) )" to Manchester United to Djoker and Nadal.
A true sports fan with whom i've spent lot of time talking about sports.

We all remember how he gladly gave up watching every ball of the World Cup 2011 until the semis to make sure India win .

Be what you are and you're gonna do wonders ahead.
    Cheers!

  8. A fellow PR mate, disciplined about his work, passionate about football and cricket, a responsible brother and the chief-in-command of Khatron Ke Khiladi who steered our team to the semi’s this time in Kopda :) A guy who manages to have all the fun while still concentrating on studies.
The smile that adorns his face puts many a doubts, arising in his teammates mind about studies, games or work, at bay. Never beats about the bush and is straightforward in whatever he has to say or thinks. A guy with a few words, he believes in doing rather than talking and it is this spirit in him which will take him places.
Wish you all the luck for your life and love :) :)

  9. Adi . .the strong headed man who will always go to any limits to make sure his point is well understood :D A very jovial but serious, simple but loud guy! A die hard cricket fan..he is one awesome cricketer of the batch. One of those person who never feels Shillong cold. After watching his first hindi movie on big screen (Agnipath) he was actually in half sleeves T shirt at 12 midnight standing in PB.
Loves to freak out when he is in mood.. just need to see his trip pics.. doing all those posing for camera :D
The strong side of PR .. always ready to take issues head-on. Never hesitate to correct you even though you are standing on same side of conversation table and he is respected for this very nature of his! Happy to work with him! :)
Stay as you are brother! Keep rocking! :)

  10. Adi is one of the brightest guys in the batch.. Sharp, quick, witty and tries to be perfect in whatever he does..An absolute sports freak!! Loves playing cricket and football and follows both sports for every update.... He gels well with people and can do some major leg-pulling when he is really in the mood of it!! A lot of us have seen him flare up with temper but is a real clean guy at heart.. There is no backbiting in his dictionary and for that I admire him the most.. Responsible and never thinks twice to help people.. I am making him sound like an ideal guy..huh? :P :P Adi.. loved every bit of the time that I spent with you in these 2 years.. From PB treats to full day outings to the random bakar sessions in Harish room to our night canteen time, it was always fun when you were around.. You were always there to support me..be it my interviews or those Ranbhoomi and Kopda matches ... Thanks for making these two years of mine so memorable :) and I was and I am sure that you will go a long way in your life and achieve all that you want ;)

  11. He is the only person in the batch who can be unbiased on any situation and can support confidently what he feels is correct. I admire you for that Adi :) I wish I can learn something from you...

All the best for future. I know you can do wonders...ll Miss you...

Nobody needs to describe him, at least for PGP 10. What you see is what he is, a straight forward and refreshingly direct guy. The best way to describe him is through a ‘Cadbury éclair’, tough exterior but soft and gooey on the inside and friendship with him is just like the experience of eating one, difficult to chew in the beginning but at the end an awesome experience filled with surprises. BTW AFK Rulz!!!!

  13. Adi reminds me of a person who is passionate in whatever he does. Let it be cricket, football, tennis or any other topic, if he has an opinion, he is passionate about it and he firmly believes in it. He can be blunt and rude at times but you can be sure that he won’t bitch at your back or back stab you at any time. If he has some grudges he will say it on your face and it’s this quality of his that I respect the most.

An extremely intelligent person and a person one can rely on.

All the very best for future pal!

    ReplyDelete
  14. My group mate and a person who believes in himself. The best thing about Adi is he will never hold back his thoughts about anything in the world. A straight forward guy who speaks his heart out. The quality I admire and will keep trying to emulate.
A hot blooded person with a heart of gold. A sports fanatic like me who follows almost all sports around.
Be the way you are and all the best for your future.!

  15. A sincere and straight forward person who speaks his heart… A true cricket fan.. a fellow MITian.. a good friend to his friends.. a brilliant and intelligent guy.. the angry young man but doesn’t carry any bad blood .. wishing you the best in all that you do…

  16. ADI...
How I remember the Chennai junior senior meet during internships... How scared were all of us (me, Niketa, Palu) to even make a small suggestion to you. :P
But now I know you much more than what is seen on the surface...
You are definitely a sensitive, caring and wise man... Can't praise you more than this.. ;)
We have spent good times (which I would always cherish) and many many bad times (which I have already forgotten :P) in PR !!
Hope you get 'all' that you want in life...
Keep smiling humesha... Miss me :P

  17. Adi. My roommate and thus probably the guy who has suffered the most in the batch! On the more serious side, this sweet eating, football loving, Ravindra Jadeja hating, facebook addicted fella is one of the most intelligent people I have met on the campus(remember a certain instance when he read and finished questions in an accounts case before I had even gone through it completely). He is a guy who believes in the simple funda of “calling a spade a spade” and no diplomacy involved in expressing them! A man with irrefutable logic and a clear aim about what he is trying to achieve.
He’s a gem of a friend and very caring towards everyone. He is also very good at leg pulling and has a distinct smile to go with it. His particular way of creating a fictional scene for a situation (Someone from Group O standing on the chair listening to commands  ) is just an example of the kind of fun one can expect when you are around him. He’s grown a lot in these 2 years both as a person as well as literally. Guy has become so fat now that fatman would actually be a befitting name for him. May you succeed in your ‘adventures’ of life. Cheers!

  18. How much ever big one thinks of himself, you need the guts to enter into an argument with Adi. I myself have had enough adventures (if am using the right word :P ) with him in my two years at Shillong. But over the period of time, I have also seen him change a lot. He is no doubt aggressive and short tempered, but at the end of the day I have never seen him sound illogical. He has a particular opinion and he will stick to it no matter what and that's what I appreciate in him.

One person whom I would definitely never forget :) :) All the best Dude...Am sure you are going to achieve great heights...No doubt in that....

    ReplyDelete
  19. Guy who is honest in appreciating others...
A person who just wont please, praise anyone and everyone, but only the ones he thinks truly deserve! So, he is the guy to look out for in case you need un-biased and frank opinion. He just won't take any bullshit and will stand all alone, if the need be, to oppose it.
    A true dare-devil!

  20. One person whole has very low, infact zero tolerance towards any kind of nonsense. Doesn’t hesitate to voice his opinion whenever necessary and does it so with 100% affirmativeness. Likes being straightforward, talks only sense and logic and doesn’t encourage the beating-round-the-bush kind of talk at all. Its real fun listening to him while he is taking a dig at some people for their stupid actions or talk.
Very Supportive when it comes to helping friends or well-wishers or, as a matter of fact, anyone. Loves sports, specially cricket and football. It’s fun listening and being a part of the impromptu discussion and analysis with him post any cricket match, be it a Kopda Cup match or Intnl Cricket. :P Super Active on FaceBook.. Posting thoughts, quotes, deceptive 1 liners, liking pics and what not :P ;)
I sincerely wish you all the very best for your future. May you achieve all that you wish to. :)

    ReplyDelete
  21. The best thing about is that he is straightforward and that also right on your face. Goes all the way to do things he thinks is right.
He is very passionate about sports; FB wall becomes scorecard/commentary board during cricket matches.
A person who is willing to take responsibilities; be it tickets or arranging a group tour.. An outgoing guy who loves to travel.
    Stay the way, you are!!

    ReplyDelete
  22. This guy is a real sports Fan. All his posts on his FB Wall are testimonial to this craze of him. Naturally aggressive person who would never hesitate to say what he feels is correct.

The most shocking thing which I came to know about this guy was that he never bunked a single class during his engineering days (how could you man???)..

A great person who follows his heart and never regrets a decision made.Wish oyou luck ahead mate.

    Keep Smiling Always :)

  23. Adi .. he is a really unique personality I ve come across… I think m the one who has spent most time sitting next to him in class in first year.. right from the inaugural IT session to AQT classes :P we used to wake each other up for classes during first year and what always used to surprise me was though I ( most of us ) continued sleeping in classes this guy wud always be attentive .. irrespective of the subject ..
I don’t know wats wrong with him but he has never bunked any class till date .. (unless he is out of town) .. ya u read it right he has even attended all 20 sessions of SEE&B !!!! this bloody dog’s time pass would be to shoot me sleeping in class all the time .. he has the maximum number of pics/videos of me sleeping in class !! the 4 of us (karthi and paul are the other 2) had a lot of fun being in the same section… mocking at paul’s DP, his tickling session with D, or during his presentations are unforgettable… and ya he wud be my saviour during surprise tests, mid terms on moodle etc etc… he can never stop pulling my leg .. no matter what I say he is there to take a dig at me …
he wud never say no to teach ppl any god damn thing any number of times… no matter when u go to him he is there to explain at length what the stupid crap is all about .. extremely intelligent guy who can grasp concepts really quickly… one thing tat totally stunned me was his analysis of players in kopda and the chart he had given ragini & ramya on hw to go about auction .. “if not these two u must definitely go for him .. if not him u definitely need these 3” .. etc etc.. my god it was such an exhaustive analysis.. u wud ve to be a dummy to lose after u had gt tat chart ! I was floored by the intricacy of details he had provided !! his analytical abilities are surely commendable I wud any day give my entire money to him to invest ! such is the talent of this fin wiz …
He has influenced me a lot in the way I behave.. there are a lot of unique things which ve rubbed on to me as well.. I ve started using “otha” more often .. the way he growls, screams in excitement , using yo yo symbol etc etc ve caught on to me as well… he s got tat in him .. his mannerisms are contagious…
ya ppl say he is aggressive , but he is a person who is always there for friends.. very sensitive when it comes to friends .. really interesting - on the outside u may think he is a carefree guy and wudn put in much efforts in people .. but people near and dear to him mean a lot to him… and they are always priority for him more than anything else in the world…. Tats adi for u ! he will never change who he is and we all love him for tat .. be adi , adi forever and ever !

  25. Adi Fan Klub was the first “kool klub” I belonged to and it wasn’t without reason. Aditya has a certain charm that makes it difficult for anyone to be offended even when he is being at his frankest best. But other than that one facet of his that everyone would mention, Adi, like Padaiyappa, has many faces - Of sweetness, fun, singing and dreams. I am privileged to have been privy to these sides of him at least during the last leg of our years here and can say with assurance that they lend a delightful balance to his personality.

He has always astonished me with the range of his knowledge - be it cricket, football, politics, finance or Institute goings on. Even more astonishing is the fact that he has a decided judgement of all issues based not on others’ opinions but analysis of his own. With time and experience, this quality of his is going to be a great asset to him and his firm.

It was a pleasure getting to know you Aditya! All the best and of course, hope to stay in touch :)

  26. I remember meeting this guy on our first journey to IIM Shillong along with Harish and Sabreesh. Even during our very first conversations, one could see the amount of confidence that he carried and the frankness in voicing his opinions. He has some kind of charisma that within the first few days, a Adi Fan Klub (AFK) was established. He is aggressive and passionate about the things he likes and will go any distance in that regard – be it cricket, football, politics or even girls (though this was a very late revelation for many of us).

A few things that I really look up to in him are his ability at “quick decision making”, the passion and drive that keeps him doing something or the other and his abilities at taking initiative and leading. He is result and action oriented and ensures the tasks he takes up are completed. He is hardworking and very good at academics for which I have always admired him. He can get angry at you at times, but if you know him well, you will understand that it is part of his frank, transparent nature. He talks what he feels and never believes in talking behind someone’s back! If you are a friend to Adi, you will know how much he cares for his friends. He will go any distance, even to the level of your enemies becoming his – That’s how much he values friendship. He is very helpful and I have never seen him say a ‘No’ when I ask him for anything.

Adi, It has been great knowing you. In spite of our many differences in opinion on various issues I have had some of the best moments of IIM Shillong when you are around. Wishing you all the luck in future and I am sure you will reach great heights in the years to come.

  27. Adi-The first thing you'll notice about this guy is his cute smile beaming with confidence. :)
He has strong opinions about things but sticks to them and is open about them. This is the best thing I like in him.
His dedication to do something is really striking. Never did I see him dull inspite of the lows during placements. Tried watching Hindi movies and understanding its dialogues. Everything has just one connect. His inquisitiveness for always something new.
There are some people you've not hung out and been for lunches and dinners too often. But when confide in you, its an awesome feeling of a friend trusting in you. Adi is the best such example for me. ;)
Needless to say, you'll be awesome wherever you go in life. Stay in touch! :)

  28. Adi- The first thing that comes to my mind when i talk of this awesome guy is his willingness to help his friends....I am proud to say that i was the President of the AFK (Read as Adi Fan Club) although the club's activities subsided later on for no reason but anyway i promise i will do some thing about it...on a more serious note every one thinks that he is very serious, short-tempered etc. but if u r close with him i am sure that's exactly opposite of what he really is...he has a great sense of humour and i am sure Paul knows about it better( especially when me and Adi are together)I have never seen him say no for anything that his friends ask for that's one thing which makes him anyone's close friend and also the kind-hearted guy that he is he is sure gonna make everyone around him happy.
There are a lot of things i will never forget that we did together...be it the Green Jacket at the Golf Cup, be it the trips we went together, be it the outing we had to pb, be it the trips to Batz,be it the cricket we played together (always loved to play under his captaincy thought he understood his players well), be it the discussions we had about cricket, football (always loved the grin on his face when ManU won), be it the AOE games played in the nights and the list is endless.
I am sure we will be in touch wherever we are and wishing u a very happy and successful life ahead...May your dreams come true (especially the one :P) May God Bless You !!!

  29. Adi is an extremely talented, vocal, proactive, angry young man! I haven’t seen a more straight forward person than Adi.. Anything he has to say, he will say it the moment he feels it without any inhibition. He is a very friendly guy, who cares a lot about his friends. You only have to look at the print out of the collage he has stuck in his wall to realise that :) He has very strong opinions and these opinions will be backed by an awful lot of stats and knowledge. So, if ever u are gonna debate with Adi, go get your facts right :) A great sports enthusiast, follows all sports diligently! He has a very positive outlook on anything I have had to discuss with him and is a clear optimist! He doesn’t have a problem keeping his life an open book, at least only to his friends :) (That big mail is something that I will never forget in my life; first and last of its kind I am gonna encounter, I am sure)
All the best Adi! Hope you get all that you desire in life!  Keep in touch!

  32. Simple yet elegant, talented but extremely humble, known to speak his mind, and doesn't fear to call a spade a spade, that's Adi for you. this guy is extremely cordial, but he would never take no nonsense. there are no pretensions, talks straight out of his heart, and extremely talented and knowledgeable in his domain. tough a little short-tempered, but he doesn't wish to please anybody for the sake of it. both of us made it together to the last round of TAS, and it was a great experience for us both. Adi's calmness and composure really helped me keep mine. Learnt a lot from you mate. I have a lot of respect for you.Sure to go miles in your career.
    Wish you all success Machha!!
    Keep Rocking!!

  33. The best thing about Adi is that he has an opinion(which many people don't have)and will always be ready to voice it. I have never seen Adi take any decision with any bias or prejudice. He is very confident and a great sports fan, always available on Facebook.
The whole batch owes Kopda Cup to you as you were the one who initiated it.Thanks for that dude..
Wishing you luck for future and I am sure you will reach great heights in your life.. Stay in touch

  34. Adi.. my favourite person on campus to pick up fights with. As aggressive and short tempered as he can be, he is also quite the softie from inside. Not scared to voice his opinions, he is one who would tell you things as they are. One of the best things about him is that he would come and apologize if he thinks he was wrong or the timing wasnt that great. Respect for that Ad!!To an outsider, on the face of it, he would come across as an angry and serious young man, however, once you get to know him, one realizes looks can be very deceptive. He is a mix of seriousness, wittiness, entertainment, humble, helpful and hardworking(Difficult to get this combo everywhere). Inspite of all our tiffs, i had lots of fun with you and hope to remain friends forever. Good luck and i know you will go places in life!!!

  35. Adi, a good friend and fun to work with for PR. Very straightforward and honest about his opinion. Can become a bit aggressive with strong opinions about things at times. But it is an experience in itself convincing him. A good team player who has put in a lot of hard work and dedication in whatever he has pursued. He is someone who is very fond of food which has given him a belly quite similar to mine.

Bonded well during our internship at Bangalore even though we hardly met inspite of staying in adjacent rooms. Would like to thank you for that birthday cake and gifts.

Great knowing and working with you for the past two years at IIMS. Wish the very best for you.

    Cheers!!!

  36. First time when I met Adi was during the Chennai meet when his “dearest friend” for 6 years running now introduced him to us :D.
Adi is a pretty straight forward guy whose outburst can be mistaken as arrogance by many people. In fact I ve been at the receiving end on many occasions. I learnt it the hard way that the only way to overcome these outbursts is to be silent. In a short while and I mean very very short while, Adi will come and apologise for the same. This way of being straight and frank is one of the many qualities I ve admired in him although I ve asked him to tone down the same. But the argument would go no further :D:D. Cricket matches were a time when Adi would be at this peak. Be it the verbal abuses he threw during Kurukshetra or the aggression he shows behind stumps while sledging the opposition or the equally similar reactions he gives when someone challenges his umpiring decisions were indeed entertaining. (Although not so for the person at the receiving end :D)
We both applied for all the clubs and committees together and took solace in the fact that we had each other for company when we got rejects together :D . But the ditcher that he was, got into PR comm. I must admit, the last committee I would ever have imagined Adi getting into was PR. :D:D. There are a couple of incidents for this. One was during footsteps when seniors would come and ask us to like IIM Shillong’s pages. Adi would be the first one to protest… nah… abuse them saying “how can they come and force us to like these pages… freedom for us.. etc etc”. The second was when harish uploaded a video of a very very bad “Sooji ka Halwa” which resembled a glue in youtube. Senior PR members reacted to it saying we shud remove the video citing reasons like “No one would join IIM S if we upload about the quality of food served here and all” and stuff. Adi gave his typical reaction once again. So it was kinda ironic that I get pings from Adi saying plz like this, like that and stuff. :D:D. I thought that PR had indeed got an ideal choice. :P :P:P in all the wrong connotation. But I was wrong. Adi started networking like never before. He was so active on FB that if any of the status messages or photos did not have Adi’s like, those posts were not worth being on FB :D
Adi is a very helpful person and would do anything for his friends. And I mean ANYTHING. Although he portrays himself to be non-emotional, I ve seen him get slightly emotional with respect to friends ( No arguments. Period) and relationships. Once u have cracked the tough outer shell, u can feel the softness inside :D. And he can talk on topic three of which politics, sports and taking up paul’s case are close to his heart :). He was the one who gave me my famous nickname here :D. Probably the only guy who chats with professors in gmail, am sure Adi will do great. Here’s wishing u success in all endeavours. And am sure we ll be in touch machi… :) Stay the same.

Good luck for the future… and see you soon in Hyderabad :)

  39. Adi loves two things more than perhaps anything else - FB & cricket. The number of status posts he's made in FB over the last 2 years would probably put him among the top 2 or 3 FB addicts in our batch :) And given that half of those have been on cricket - the second argument follows automatically. Of course his love for cricket was also visible for all during the Kopda Cups - he'd always be on the field during the matches - either as a player or as an umpire (albeit a controversial one :P). And yes, he loves Fin too :)

Adi is known to have a short temper - maybe he should invest on a better fuse. But, unlike most people who get angry, he also has the ability to lose his anger really fast. I remember having had an argument with him during one of the Kopda Cup matches last year, yet before long we were sharing a laugh over it. In fact, Adi is one of those rare fellow you'll always find with his teeth exposed - he's a really friendly guy who loves sharing jokes and laughs with everyone. And, he's also one of those rare guys with terrific self-confidence and a really good presence of mind & character.

But, as I said, use your investment skills to shop for a better fuse :D

  40. Adi is one of the most direct and straight-forward persons in the batch...Its easy to talk to him and get straight answers..On the other hand, it can be quite difficult if you end up on other side of argument with him..a genuine person and an eloquent speaker, he is sure to do very well wherever he goes...
All the very best to you and hope you have a great life ahead..:)

  41. After converting the IIM-S call from wait-list, I was to wait one week to know whether Adi would convert it too. I was hoping he would. Not that he was my best friend or something :P. But that I knew he was the most talented guy in my UG batch there and would be a great addition to IIM-S itself. Well after 2 years, I have great conviction that I thought right at that time :).

I still remember the way he used to help people in the exams (Both before and during :D) and would go to any extent to do something for people he cared for. Those things have hardly changed. In fact, he has matured and has softened even more. Good for him :)!

Wishing u success in ‘all’ ur endeavors :)!

    Cheers,
    Saba
