TEJAS PRADHAN

14 comments:

  1. Tejas Pradhan shot to fame overnight with his comments in Gmail chain-mail regarding the project for a particular subject - thenceforth he came to be known as "Veer Maratha", and rightfully so. I'm sure no one would easily forget his response in that mail chain :)

Tejas, who is also variously referred to as TV Pradhan or Teja, lives life on his own terms. He doesn't give a damn to the so-called demands & requirements of the place around him. He believes in doing stuff that he believes in, not just because he's required to do them or just because everyone else is doing so. This streak of rebelliousness in him is truly admirable, more so given how easily and willingly most others tend to conform & comply just to go ahead in the rat-race if life.

He is an exceedingly friendly, helpful & cheerful person, and has great sporting spirit. One can always see him having a good laugh despite what the situation is. He loves eating outside - whenever I suggest eating out, he readily agrees. He's also quietly competent in his field of choice, viz. Finace - though given his unassuming & relaxed demeanour, not many would guess so.

I'm sure this talented Mumbaikar will go places in his life.

  2. Tejas:
Next time when someone says Maratha- the one person I will think of will be definately him.... I got to know Tejas well during the first year and amazingly well during Second year... He has been a Great friend throughout..
When thinking to describe him- the first word has to be his Attitude... He has an amazing way of looking at life.. While he will worry about Placements, Grades like rest of us- yet he will rarely let things tie him down.. He will just go- get up and work harder...
Often underrated, his confidence in himself and his abilities is one of the things I have noticed during various aspects- be it in Competitions in IIM-B Vista or before Placements- He knows he can get something- and will try his best...

One of the closest Friend during the 2 years- I have always enjoyed his company a lot... And hope to do same for years to come..

    Cheers,
    Priyansh!

  3. It has been six years now that I and Tejas are studying in the same college and same branch and I can say for sure that this guy has turned from 'best' to 'the best' in these years. Be it engineering at BITS or finance at IIMS, he definitely has an amazing understanding of both. Apart from his academic potential, he is a cricket fanatic and plays the sport very well. He also has a liking towards both contemporary and past music and also plays Tabla. In short he's a total all rounder.
Tejas also loves to eat outside and if any day you wish to go out for eating then Tejas should be the first person whom you should ask. He is also that kind of a guy who will follow a set of rules for himself and will not just blindly follow the crowd.

It was a great journey these six years of stay with Tejas and am sure this guy will always rock!! All the best dude....

  4. Tejas was among the first friends that I made at IIM Shillong. After that we co-incidentally ended up in the same study group, where it was a pleasure to have him. You could rely on him to finish off the work by hook or by crook :P I am also grateful to him for tolerating my temper during study group work.

He is a great fan of things past - whether the old cartoons of Flintstones or Tintin or his opinion that CST should still be called VT. He is a very rational person (most of the time that is - on other occasions he doesn't like Djokovic because of the sound of his name :P) and does not mind airing his honest opinions quite coolly. I am jealous of his ability to contain his temper :)

All in all he is a very sincere, modest and hardworking person, always eager to learn whatever he can from others.

I wish him the best for his future. Keep in touch :)

  6. The most carefree person of the batch and the best roomie! Is in love with his green jacket cum sweater to the extent that he is now unrecognizable if he’s wearing something else :D
His chilled out attitude was always apparent but it left me and Ralhan in awe when the night before a tough examination, when we were about to begin studying that came this statement from him: “Yaar tension to bahut ho rahi hai par neend aa rahi hai. Ab to kuch nahi ho sakta!”. And the next moment he was asleep with the blanket covered upto his head :D
Nonetheless a brilliant guy with single minded determination to do and study what he likes to. A genuine person without a trace of a façade, who extends help without hesitation and lives life as it is meant to be- Simple and peaceful.
I couldn’t have chosen a better roommate even if I had a choice! All the best for your future :)

  7. The first thing that comes to my mind when i think about Tejas is "Damn, how can someone be so carefree". He is very carefree in the daily chores of life but very very focused on the things he sets his eyes on.He doesn't like "Gardi" and hence is always the first one to be in the mess :-)
A Topgear fan and a big down-loader(IT comm pls take note ur committee member was his roommate). Tejas has always been there to help his friends whenever needed.
He is simply brilliant in QT & Finance and has taught Manbir & I in-numerous subjects which were beyond our comprehension.Once during end sems hez best dialogue was "Tension ho rahi hai par ab toh 11 baj gaye hain aur neend aa rahi hai, ab kuch nai hoga toh so jata hun".
I have learnt playing Tabla from him .. which Manbir can't [Pun intended]
Keep rocking dude!!! I am sure u will achieve great heights in life..

  8. Tejas is a very straight forward guy. A BITSian, with a good CGPA, he appeared for CAT and came to an IIM.

He likes to see his world as a decent place where people do their jobs and everything is like a good movie. It is a lot of fun to make wierd statements in front of him just to see his reactions. He would respond with his ‘Kuch bhi’ or ‘random bandha’ statements.

I’ve seen that Tejas would always help friends and never even think about other options. I really appreciate that in him.

There are many other good things about him. For example, he is a good tabla player, but the fact that he is good friend is enough for here. I am sure he would do well in his career. I am sure we will keep in touch.

  9. Tejas, the Tabla Player is how I first noticed Tejas and then came the finance classes. Especially enjoyable in class is how when the teacher asks for the summary for a pre-read, he gives an apologetic expression as if he hasn’t even downloaded the doc and then with a bit of prodding, comes up with a brilliant synopsis of the case, sometimes even quoting the salient points verbatim. I am sure that his hard working nature will keep him above others in his chosen field. All the best Tejas :)

  10. Tejas is a very straight-forward, humble and down-to-earth person who shows no tantrums. This guy definitely has loads of talent but never shows up. There is a peculiar thing about him- he used to bunk lot of classes before he got placed and would most of the time in his room. But soon he got placed and he started waking up early and going to classes (those classes which everyone would bunk). What man!! His simplicity is reflected in his lifestyle and the way he talks and mingles with people around. An ace tabla player, a very good Finance expert- he deserves to rise. Wishing u a great succes ahead. Keep Smiling Always:)

  11. Ye Teja Teja kya he....Teja me hoon mark idhar he.....Sorry yaar..I hope you are not offended... Tejas was the first person I met in North-east and understood that I have come to the right place. His very impression was a brilliant guy with a very humble nature. But guess what he has been an awesome friend since then.

I remember going out with him to eat and have fiery discussions on various topics which may or may not make much sense. I think he showed immense character and has guided me lot of times in preparing for my interviews which have helped me a lot.

I think he has awesome knowledge of Finance and was among Nalini's favorite students. Tejas has been very sporty in terms of going out for treks or eating out.

All the Best Teja for the future and hope to see your name in the economic times...

  12. Uff... Arnav wrote it before me, :( but still after all the headstorming (won't say brainstorming, as it is some alien thing to me), I am unable to find an answer to this ques "Ye Teja Teja kya hai??" :P
He is one of the coolest person here (probably this explains the simultaneous use of heater & blower in his room), yet another 'ph'in wizard of our batch, who laughs his heart out even on my PJs (as above) and of course on some serious stuff like discussing the Bagh's case :P
Jokes apart (if u consider them as jokes), he is a great friend to have, a very simple down to earth, genuine blah blah
All the best for ur future :)

  13. Tejas whom I call as cadet is one of the brightest minds. He likes to keep things simple. Would not even mind to ignore teacher if he is creating a small little disturbance in his simple life. Knows his priorities well and also knows how to achieve them. Gud luck bhai...

    Saawdhaan honge saawdhaan....:)
