ARNAV GUPTA

16 comments:

  1. Arnav is a man with infinite calibre and extreme potential. Very down to earth and humble person. Doesn't prefer to exhibit his talent which sometimes would make experts look like novices.

Has his roots very deeply imbibed in him and has every quality of a typical gujrati man. Has the cleanest room in the whole batch, dead sure about that. Competition guru, hygiene factor or simply Arnav... call him with whatever name... he will continue to surprise and astonish you!

    Bhaisahab.. Micasa chalen?

  2. Arnav is a very cheerful and enthusiastic person who has a very positive attitude towards everything. He has knowledge of various domains but he never show off. He'll be the person who will always complete assignments and acad work well before time.
This guy loves watching movies and loves debating about the same with other friends. He has a linking towards fashion and likes to try new styles.
A very hardworking person and very helpful friend.

All the best dude...Keep in touch..

  3. Arnav, the marching soldier of Group-D. The time he hopped into the IIMS campus he had calls from US univesities and unlike a typical Gujju, he choose to stay back in his own country. I have known him for last 2 years and am pretty sure of the hard work and sincerity that he brings to any task that he has been assigned. He is so passionate about the money related matters that he can displace Montek Ahluwalia from the planning commission and can definitely suggest better avenues for economic growth of country. He is also a party animal and does not leave any chance of enjoying his hardwork. He does not speaks a lot but does makes sense out of every single word that he utters. I wish that someday he is being haled as the next 'Rakesh Jhunjhunwala' of India.

  4. Arnav was amongst the first guys I met on the campus. One of the most sincere and hardworking guys, Arnav is the undisputed champion when it comes to participating in B-school competitions.

I am sure that I have not seen anyone who is more optimistic than him. Always able to find the silver lining in any situation. His extremely long reports and the trademark 'oooooo' will definitely be remembered by me.

But more than all that Arnav is a very helpful person and a great guy to be with. Keep in touch...

PS: His room has to be the most cleanest room on campus :) :) :)

  5. Arnav has been a companion on many a trips back home but once on campus he is hardly to be seen out :P Don’t take his silence for his lack of interest rather he is trying to assimilate the learnings so that those can be put to use somewhere.
Hardwork, simplicity and way of looking at things optimistically are his greatest gifts. Never seen him angry! An enthusiast when it comes to B school events and he has many Gujju traits thanks to his many years of stay in Gujarat. (I am of the opinion that his Gujarati is far more superior than mine :P)
Wish you all the luck for the future Arnav :)

  6. An optimal mix of the two cultures; viz. the "Gujju" and the "Baniya"; that he belongs to. An avid trader and a voracious participant in B-School competitions, he is a hard worker, sincere and dedicated to whatever he is up to (I still remember during 1st year when he used to skip everything - including lunch - in order to study).

Being from the same state and sharing the common interest of investing, I got to be good friends with him. Also had the pleasure of having him in some of the Finance study groups.

With his kind of dedication and passion (a great mind need not bother itself with the cleanliness of as trivial a thing as a room :P), he needs no wishes to succeed.

Nonetheless, I wish Arnav all the very best.

  7. Arnav....Few words that best describe him is his hardworking and never dying attitude. He is ready to dedicate many nights to B-school competitions, exams etc. We did many competitions together and reached top position in almost all of them...:):)

He is the person with whom I shared many things since from the first year. No doubt he is having one of the cleanest room in the whole batch but the bigger thing is that he is having a pure heart ready to help his friends in all the situations. Keep the same spirit buddy and I am sure you will reach the great success in your life...:)

  9. Arnav-
I Know him for nearly 2 years- and the Guy is damn serious and passionate about his work. Often underrated- be it his Academics skills or his research and Hard-work, the guy always give his best...
I still remember working with him on various competitions- be it in IIM-B or IIM-A- and reaching Finals of them... We often argued, fought- but working with him was a Pleasure...
One thing people often forget about talking is- his Planning....
He always has back-up plans, has planned out things- and has high ambitions...
With his ambitions and his hard work, I am pretty sure he will go to great heights...

It has been a great pleasure knowing him- and Cheers to coming years of working together in UB Group...

    Cheers mate,
    Priyansh

  10. Got to know this guy only in the 2nd year but I did know the secret of his room in the 1st year :D. I have known Arnav for his calm and intelligence. This guy is a great and quick learner but never boasts about anything. The first one to get any latest released movie in the batch. And not to forget bhaijaan sirf kitaabo me hi nahi ladkiyon pe bhi dil laga sakte hai. Of late he developed a liking for someone (not to be disclosed: people close to him can probe and give him a good GPL for this).

Be humble always and wish u success. Keep Smiling mate :)

  11. Shetty a.k.a Arnav has become one of my closest friends on the campus. He had been a friend from the time before we came to the campus. He was the first gonna-be batchmate I’ve contacted and we came together in the taxi to Shillong for the first time.

What many people probably miss and what I can vouch for is that Shetty has a great sense of humour. He is really good at coming up with jokes and can easily joke about himself. Now, that is kind of rare.

In the last two years, we’ve had a lot of philosophical talks and they were fun. None of us would really budge from our position. Making loads of money is still important for Arnav and living without regrets is still important for me.

Arnav, I wish you worry less about things that have already happened, things that are not in your hands and smile more often :) All the best to your future.

  12. Arnav one of the most hardworking and talented PGP10 participants. There is not even a single subject which he didnt study seriously. We studied lot of accounts
together doing cases, sums and having lot of fun alongside. He is always game for anything be it going out for food or a trip somewhere. I have got a really good friend in you.
Another peculiar thing about Arnav is his messed up room. Never cared to bother about bedsheet on his bed :P But very clear about his objectives. He has won lot of B-School competitions and makes some really awesome PPTs. I really want to learn this art from him :)
I know Arnav would surely make a mark for himself whereever he goes.
All the Best... Keep in Touch :)

  14. Arnav- I gotta know him since he was in my study group. But we never worked in his room ever cz I heard you can't walk without tripping in his room, can't sit cz there might be just a banana peel somewhere.. :P
But this guy has this extreme dedication towards his work. His share of work would be completed on time always. Managed other's share as well, when need be.
Your hardwork will take you long way. Good luck! :)

  15. When you c his face..you know tht there is smthing going on in his mind..very shrewd and can get his work done even when others have difficulty..but again a person who knows how to appreciate and give credit to the one who deserves.
If he works on his weaknesses, he surely can b a great company and someone who any friend can treasure.

    All the best!

  16. Shettttyyyyyyyyyy... i can't give up my habit.. will call you this way even if we meet in our old age:P. Sincere, business fest wizzz. and a very hardworking person. One of the rarest person at IIM Shillong who solves every case as HOMEWORK:P. Got a chance to sit with him in the second year when his sincerity to solve Finance cases surprised me. Some of his trademarks are "ooooooohoooooo00ooo" while listening to any conversation(and the length of this ooo goes on increasing as conversation progresses), "Sahiiii mein??" and many more which his wing mates can tell better:P All in all, he is a good person with the ability to reach any height...wish you good luck Shettyyyy... go and rock .... and yes do keep in touch:)
