SHASHANK JAIN

13 comments:

  1. The Ola la la boy of our batch. He is the dedicated brand ambassador of Carlsberg and loves to hang around with friends. Put on ‘Dhinka Chika’ and he will let loose his innovative steps :) The fun loving smart boy…it has been a privilege to share these last 2 years with you. And I nearly forgot how he could live a complete month fiddling with his blackberry on which he receives chatpata pings :)

  2. Shashank Jain - easily the fastest worker in Group-J. He has a passion of Finance and won't allow anybody else to get their hands dirty doing fin assignments. Shashank loves to party and he is a very fun loving guy. Without Shashank, Group-J wouldn't have been fun and would have been incomplete. Shashank is a very sharp and intelligent guy and in our group we would do unachievable by any other study group. Be it making a faculty sleep listening to our presentation or be it presenting a 100 slide ppt for over 90 minutes in Marketing, we did awesomely in our Group. Apart from Carlsberg, he has a likingness towards BP and all the Cult Comm parties would have this. He has been a charming lad on campus.
I know Shashank is an entrepreneur by heart and I wish him huge success in all his future endeavors and I know he would definitely 'Make it Large'...Cheers!!

  3. Sashank is a hard working guy interested a lot in finance. My neighbour during the first year, he is definitely passionate towards music. Among my fondest memories at IIM-S during the first year is waking up in a serene climate to some good music being played opposite my room - it ensured I never missed classes (provided he himself woke up :P). I also enjoyed playing wing cricket (before it was banned :() with him in the old boys hostel. While in the Fin-I group that we shared, I first hand experience his passion for the subject and his enthusiasm for working on the same.

I wish Shashank all the best for his future. Keep in touch.

  4. If there's one guy who's as passionate about Fin as one could ever hope to find, it would have to be Shashank - or Sus-Con as one Prof loved calling him. In fact, he isn't just passionate about Fin, he's really good in it too. We happened to be in the same group during our Fin-I course and it was then that I got to notice that first-hand - while I would hardly have the enthusiasm for solving the Fin problems given in class, he would start working on them from the word go.

Shashank's jovial nature might mislead one to think that all he loves is having fun, but in reality he's a hardworking guy. Of course, he does love having fun, and he's sure a bundle of energy - you'd always find him involved in one activity or another, and forever smiling & having a good time with his friends. And he's perhaps one the few guys who prefers beer over hard liquor during the various parties we have on campus :)

  5. Came to know this guy while working for the process of E-cell induction. We didn't come across well with each other though. But to my understanding over these 2 years, I have found a very different guy altogether in him. He is a great friend, a hard-working person , intelligent personified and always with a smile on his lips. This guy definitely deserves much more in his life and will surely scale heights. Wishing u great success ahead. Keep SMiling Always :)

  6. I love the way Shashank presents the numerous ppts that happen in our classroom. Given the situation, he could make the presentation funny as hell as well have some very relevant (not bakar ) points made. He has very good knowledge about the on goings in the world and can bring them into the class discussion if he wants to (and he is not sleeping!).He is also one of the unfortunate souls whose name has been mutated by professors to be called Sus-Con! He is very dear to his own group of friends and is very good at leg pulling. Wish you best of luck for your future . Cheers!

A CultCommer he knows very well to work hard and party harder! This Bindaas chap always has a smile of his face, is passionate about adventures and is amicable. Wish you luck for the future Shashank :)

  8. The heartthrob of our batch with a CHATPATI personality, that’s what Bilala is. I have never seen anyone so good in multi-tasking as this fellow. He has the capability to talk to you and simultaneously fiddle/text/type on his blackberry :P . I still cannot fathom how can anyone has the same smile exact to the last nanometre in every pic he poses. His likes late night self-introspecting walks and his passion for Green is unimaginable. I am still waiting when your count of green will touch 150 so that we can celebrate again to make it reach to 200 :P

He has always been there to add to my creativity to make parody of songs and mould it in a way that if the lyricist hears it, I am sure he won’t think a second to commit suicide.

A cultcomm person from heart and soul. Loves to party and makes people happy. If not people like you, last year’s farewell wouldn’t have been such a great success. Let it be Niveshak or cultcomm responsibilities, if given any responsibility, he makes sure that he gives his more than 100% and makes it a grand success. Always there for his friends and can go to any extent for people he cares for.

I still owe my HSBC GD to you, if not your gyaan on Euro crisis I wouldn’t have made such an impact to be noticed in one go by the panel members.

All the best and never let that inch perfect smile fade away from your face.

  9. Bilala- Nihayti Shareef, Kissi se na pange lene wala, Saare lecture attend karne wala and Cards aur Daru se toh duur duur tak koi connection nai. Ab iss se zada gun ek aadmi mein ho sakte hain kya.

This blackberry boy has the ability to drool many girls over him. He is the one who has taken ‘Go Green’ literally, drinks only beer that too only Green. Has this KAMINI smile, which u can see in every picture of his. Still I don’t know how so many girls fall for him. His ability to type very fast because of his constant chatting has helped many like me during exams as he can send u very long answers via SMS in no time.

Apart from day to day “Logon se Pange lena ” he has been my companion in many things starting from bunking classes to opting out from intern in ‘Tashan’ and then not getting intern till very last day (Though eventually we managed to get good interns). In the past two years, I have thoroughly enjoyed Bhim and Shashank’s Chip & Dale type fights.

He has very good music collection and throughout first year my indication for getting late for 9 am class was his songs, if Shashank has started his early morning radio and I am still in bed that means I will be late to class by at least 10 min.

He has always been there for his friends and I have never seen him shrug any responsibility that has been bestowed on him. I have learnt a lot from you dude (but still miles to go). His jovial and playful nature is liked by all. Keep rocking dude.

I hate the fact that he being a pathetic TT player defeats me in that and yes very soon your FIFA championship Title will be taken from you.

My stay here would have been very dull, boring and to some point even torturous had I not met you. Stay the way you are and I am sure you’ll achieve great heights in your life.

  10. My fellow groupie Shashank. :) Group J rocks :) The numerous times we have met in ur room having no clue as to what needs to be done, the bakar sessions, the leg pullings, late night scrambles all were really good moments that we had together. A very good presenter who can say anything he wants and can get away with it by tackling the questions brilliantly. An awesome cult commer who enjoys life to the fullest. I got to hear awesome hindi songs from ur speakers and whenever I hear the song “Uff teri ada”, I ll remember our C wing where u used to play it so frequently :D. Kurukshetra was nice fun and although we dint win, it was a fun filled experience and got us together :) May god be with you and wish u all success in ur career and life. :)

  12. Shashank!! Royal Blood :P Other half of Mental Blank and my neighbour of first year. I met him on first day of the college, and the frequency matched and since then we have been friends and I guess I have spent most of my 2years with him.
My partner in teasing and bullying people, late night bakars, walks, pranks.

A good looking guy with a cute and measured smile. Someone who can easily woo girls, have seen him doing that.

His love for BlackBerry and Carlsberg is known to everyone, someone with an awesome taste of music. We had almost same playlist, and had common favourite songs. My Accounts and Fin guru of first year, he has taught me a lot. Sorry Shashank for registering you for so many quiz events we did together, I know you were never interested in quizzing. :P

A cultcommer who loves partying especially drinking green and a responsible person (Niveshak ppl will tell better). Thanks to him (BB), he has helped me a lot during exams, won’t be wrong if I say helped me pass many of the exams here.

He is fun loving and multi tasker, who is famous for keeping himself in exile for unknown reasons. Someone who never said No to me for anything and has always been a part of my weird ideas. Don’t forget we still have many things to do before we leave this place.

Someone who made stories about me out of nothing, rite Shashank? I know you would want to defend yourself, but some other time :P Someone who was always there for me. Had an awesome time with you during interns at Mumbai.

MBA would not have been interesting, if I had not known and met you Shashank.

No need to say that I will always be in touch with you. All the best bhai and keep rcoking :-) :-)

  13. Olalala Bilala :P . I have known him from our talent night where we acted in the same play (him being Salman Khan , hahahaha :P) and the first dance of Rejected Dancers Group (Thanks to you, i was a part of that :D )

Shashank comes across as a very enthusiastic and driven person. He has the ability to carry forward or spearhead any kind of activity or initiative he is interested in. My fellow Fin Club member, we have had real good times discussing and working together on a lot of things for Fin Club. As a cult commer, he has been very instrumental in lot of its activities and one of the few who made last year farewell successful and memorable.

Die hard fan of Carlsberg and BB, master at playing pranks and taking people's case.

You have been a good pal of mine. Take care and stay in touch :)
