  2. Vivek..one of the best buddies I made in the last two years and no words can describe our friendship. He is the best person when u want to share n confide anything be it about classes, thoughts on life, your career. His designing skills are mindboggling and can't forget the bakar and fun we had as "C wing Rightest" and also winning the Kurukshetra :)

He is very hardworking and dedicated to his club works. He has been my motivator for preparation for CFA.. and one thing which i will definitely miss is playing TT games with you..

Wish all the very best in your life friend and whenever you need anything i am one phone call away..God Bless you :)

  3. The photoshop wizard of our batch…I appreciate him for the very fact that he learnt it all after coming to IIMS. A level headed person…it is extremely difficult to get him agitated. His logic is infallible and comes out as a person with that typical shy smile :) The amount of contribution you made towards Niveshak and Alum Committee is commendable. Wish to be in touch…and keep rocking in life !!

  4. Respect !! he belongs to the rare species of the fin wizards of our batch that command a lot of respect because of his down to earth behavior. He is a lot better than many of the other (self) pampered fin gurus of our batch, still never saw him engaging in any sort of show off/DP. A person with golden heart, who is always ready to help you out and even encourages you fully in all the bakar :)
Will miss my C-Wing Rightist days :(

  5. Vivek Priyadarshi- one of the most respected member of PGP10. He has been one of my closest friend and I know what a true and genuine person he is. Vivek is that kind of person who would keep up with his own responsibilities and would never interfere unnecessarily. Vivek is a man who commands respect and people call him a person with so much genuineness in him. He is a very hard working guy and I never find him complaining when the whole world around you would be complaining for every petty matters happening. He can never lose his temper but I do remember only 1 instance (yeah only 1) when he lost a bit of his temper (alumni talks).

I guess Vivek has been one of the major force behind the timely delivery of Niveshak. He has handled Alumni Comm with all his might and have presented to the whole alumni world with the webpage designed by him single-handedly. You would never find him studying hard but still he would be abreast with all the acads stuff. Vivek is so brilliant that he would get the first official PPO of HSBC. He is a pure Fin guy with excellent creativity at presentations. He is one of my teacher of Finance and I would always remember his confidence on me- he would motivate me like anything and would provide me with every kind of help. He is one of best friends and I hope he would live a very happy life with his Odia Hubby. Vivek - Please never change and be like this wherever you go and whatever you do. Loads of wishes to you fellow Chicken Lover for all the endeavours in future.

  6. My biggest critic whom I love to hear, Vivek has most of the times different opinion than me. He is more practical person as compared to me (who takes idealistic stand). Between us we share a lot of secrets which are enough to stabilize or destabilize few relationships on this campus (lets start disclosing them from March 1st). We always debate on a lot of things; be it Life in TCS, admin (IIMS) policies and standard of faculty in college.
Vivek is a person who has all the attributes like sincerity, commitment, dedication in right amount. All these combined with his never say day spirit has made him one the most respected and admired (by whole batch as well as seniors and juniors) person of the batch. I have never seen him losing his temper (except for saying Bhak saale a lot of times) on anyone though because of his proactive nature he has been a victim of situation when he had to carry out tasks alone.
His room has been a sort of second home for me (reason being that it was just in front of mine). I think, if I have shared my sorrow and frustration with anyone in this campus, it would be Vivek only. I know he calls me "the biggest hypocrite", but those are my ways to learn practical aspects. Though he has all the qulaities of becoming Barney Stinson, he prefers to be Marshall Eriksen (I am Ted Mosby and no points for guessing who actually is Barney in our group). Vivek (along with Xing bhai) also taught me basics of trading. I can never forget the Sikkim trip where we went during winter vacation (2010-11) :)
He has been a friend, brother and guide to me. I have learnt a lot from Vivek. He has tremendous potential to redefine anything with his nature. Be the same how you are presently bro.. And you can eat less than me :)

  7. I take this opportunity to thank Vivek for all his guidance. I have learnt a lot from him. I was very fortunate to have you in my group. He has helped me to improve my presentation skills a lot.

Thank You Vivek for all your guidance.

All the best and stay in touch...

  8. A wonderful guy who at every point of time is filled with confidence and an urge to achieve something.. can be quite manipulative with his sweet tone when he wants to get something done or get his point across(although i doubt can ever do anything wrong).. Good luck and do keep in touch!!

  9. Vivek- The most composed, hardworking and dedicated person you can find at IIM Shillong. He is a true gem of a person and will always help you whenever you need him. He was my group member in many projects in 2nd year and it feels so good to have him. You can be rest reassured that the work will be done in no time when he is there ;) I always seek his advice when I am in doubt. I will miss the TT matches that we used to play in between the lectures.
I am indeed very luck to have you as my neighbour in 2nd year... All the very best Vivek :)

  14. ONE OF THE COOLEST guys of our batch. A fadu designer who has helped me in couple of competitions. It's always great to interact with this guy. His fin concepts are also crystal clear

All the best dude and I am sure you will achieve everything in life..!!

  15. Vivek is one person for whom how much ever hard you keep racking your brains, only thing you can post is good thing about him. I took half an hour just to remember if I could think of anything I can use as sarcasm here, or to take a dig at him, but I failed. A crystal clear person. You just cant find any flaws in him.

This guy doesnt talk much from his own. But when he does, everyone around him listens. That is the kind of aura and energy he carries with him. One of the smartest dudes of our college, broke many many hearts when he came in committed and since then he has been just the dream boy for many of them. He is an expert in taking Anshu's case and leaves no stone unturned in that. He has taken extra efforts to prove Anshu to be a "hypocrite" and really blasts at him when he is upto his usual lectures on morals and ideals. Thanks Vivek for saving us from them a lot of times ;) :P

Vivek is an awesome designer and an inspiration for me in this field. His creativity flows into his work with so much ease and you would never find him taking any pains in doing so. It comes so natural to him. I owe him the use of many softwares Movie Maker, Audacity, Photoshop and must say he was the one because of him I could make all those bday invites.

Although I am total nuts in Finance and also hate it to as extent possible, I have been a part of many discussion sessions in his room where all the Fin experts come and share their views. Though a silent spectator, I do understand a lot when Vivek speaks. His concepts are so clear and simple, that even I could understand anything he would try to explain. I was always awed by his knowledge and command over academics. A total dedicated person to work, be it group work, Niveshak or Alumni Committee, he manages everything along with his external dedications everytime. And never ever has the smile away from his face. The proof of his dedication is also clearly visible from the strict schedule he follows. Sleeps on time, gets up early, goes to gym, has breakfast and starts with his work everyday. Maintaining a strict schedule for two years at IIMS is surely a great feat to achieve I must say :)

I got to know him well during our Talent Show when I got to know the other side of him. Apart from being s intellectual, the guy plays the Hawaiian Guitar excellently and unbelievably has a degree in music too. And since then our friendship grew and I always felt honoured to be one of his good friends really :) You can just go and talk to him on any topic and he would listen to you patiently and in turn give you a rock solid advice that you would be bound to follow because thats the best you can do. Yes, he does find the best possible solution from any problem in no time.

Everyone who meets him would know what a gem of a person he is. And thats what even HSBC did. They could not afford to let him go and immediately bound him to them for a longer term by offering him the PPO. Dude, you are going to go places and HSBC is just a very small start for you. We are just watching abhi to :) Pata hai tere ko bahut kaam hoga blore mein but time nikaal ke touch mein rahiyo :) :)

  16. Vivek is a gentleman...A guy for whom any lady would fall.A very measured and cool persona who exudes a lot of confidence. He is a guy who can take up the toughest of assignments with utmost ease.An allrounder, he puts in his 100 percent in whatever he does.Be it one of those fin assignments, group ppts or guitar he is all up for it.He is surprisingly modest for a guy of his kind of caliber and knowledge.

Be the same buddy...u r destined to go places in life!!!

  17. Best way to describe Vivek would be as a sincere and a hardworking chap. Many of my memories of Vivek are that of him working on Niveshak or doing AlumCom work. He had this habit of finding work and keeping himself busy when most other people on this campus would be enjoying their free time. Hats off to this guy for being so dedicated for all the tasks he took, at times doing more than his share of work but never cribbing about any of it!!! He is a very calm and composed guy respected by all. Not to forget about his love for Chicken and his talks with Anshu who he had named “The Hypocrite”. I will always remember the so called fights between him and Anshu to finish off the last bits of food whenever we used to go out :P

A finance enthusiast now ready to settle down in Bangalore …………Best of Luck!!!!!!!!!!!

  18. Vivek has been a silent and sensible witness to a lot of insanity in our class and has impressed many simply by staying above trivialities. I’ve admired the way you smile and accept what comes your way, never complaining and always producing quality work. All the best for a great future Vivek!

  19. Vivek bhai is again among those people in the batch who commands respect. A very sensible person and very very soft-spoken too. Eager to help anyone who reaches out to him. His "never sat NO" attitude will go a long way with him. A true genius and a well-informed person. He will take up his duties very religiously- which is definitely reflected in his works for Niveshak and Alum Comm. Wishing u great life ahead. Keep Smiling Always :)

  20. Vivek is probably one person whom i feel i should have known much better :) We never got to speak to each other until our internship started. Those two months, i got to know the person Vivek is :) He is an amazing talent who works hard and is very sincere. He can crack jokes and he does crack some good jokes as well :D He appears to be very silent, hardly speaks to any - but have heard from many that he teaches a lot of people and is very helpful :)

Wish you have a great life ahead and see you around in Bangalore :)

  21. Vivek is person of rare kind. He is savior in bad times and a great companion during the good. I would never have been able to survive the demands of Econometric but for this guy.

One of the smartest guys of the batch and yet dedicated to the core to one person. His refusal to partake in fun activities, because of the concern, love and care for that one person, makes him special, not only for her but for others as well who can never grasp what true commitment and devotion means.

He is immensely talented in a variety of ways. Be it Finance, Photoshop or playing Guitar, Vivek will always be among the best. He not only attends all the classes but even manages to keep himself awake in them.

He is always one of the first ones to get awake. He practically manages to do all things correctly even in this confused world of B-school. He possesses a unique sense of humor. His jokes and cracks on Anshu have always been a delight.

I wish you all the best for your future endeavors and I am sure you will continue to portray and symbolize what is Good about our society and its people.

  22. Respect is the first word that comes to my mind when I think of Vivek. A multi-talented guy who believes in quality of work and is disciplined to the core.I owe a lot of my attendance to Vivek as he used to wake me up for torturous 9 AM classes... A guy who has a patient ear to everyone but makes his own opinion without any bias or prejudice.
He is first one to leave campus after exams(or when ever he finds an opportunity)and has beaten me in that by miles :-p
A brilliant person by heart .. God Bless and Stay in touch Vivek Bhai ..

  23. Vivek is probably the most sincere person on campus, who willingly shoulders several responsibilities with his lovely smile never fading away from his face. One of the most silent people (must be ranked after me of course :P), he is known to voice his opinions only in the company of select people such as Anshu when they start giving their trademark gyan :P

Vivek is one of the most genuine people I have ever met, and I am truly in awe of his perfect behaviour all the time! Extremely talented that he is, he has left no stone unturned to make a mark in every sphere of his life! He is a perfect all-rounder- extremely good in studies, an amazing Hawaiian guitarist, extremely creative as the designer of Niveshak and several awesome birthday invites! Not leaving sports aside, he is an excellent TT player, one of the best performing bowlers this Kopda Cup and one of the most regular users of our gym…

Vivek is extremely gentle, hardworking and fun to be with. There is something about him that evokes a feeling of trust and commands respect from everyone who ever interacts with him. He is extremely level-headed and has clear goals for him in life, which he never loses a track of.. His accomplishments in these two years are a clear reminder of his abilities and the effort he puts into achieving them. Whether it be CFA or the HSBC PPO, he has proved his mettle each time!

All in all, Vivek is someone we all aspire to be like. His cool demeanour and confident nature distinguishes him from others. Always there to help one in need, Vivek is one of the best friends I can have.. I know this is just the beginning Vivek… You have a long way to go and rise up real high.. I’m sure you are destined for loads of success and happiness.. Best Wishes :) :)

  24. My Group L mate; he is the one I have shared the most of my MBA work with. :) He is an immensely sincere, hardworking, creative and intelligent guy. He is the unsaid leader of our group and but for his proactive efforts, a lot of our assignments would never have been completed. A music lover, web designer et al, he is a truly multifaceted personality. When all of us become alumnus, we are going to be interacting in the portal designed, almost single-handedly by this guy :) He has the knack of getting the work done, which I have observed on multifarious occasions. He can push people without pissing them off and get them to complete the work :) He is truly a big asset to any team he is a part of. Committed to the core, he is a sincere family man, already :) A good sports person and gym goer, this guy is a wholesome package. He is an awesome, totally reliable, sweet friend to have. Wish you all the best for an immensely happy future, dude :) Keep in touch!

  25. Vivek is calm, composed and a fun loving guy who is perfect in anything he does.... I personally have never seen him get angry (except for one occasion when alumni misused a given opportunity) and he greets every one with a smile. I have worked with him in one of the competition and can say that with him being around others need not worry and his presentation skills are the best.

May god give you everything you wish for...all the best and stay in touch.

  26. Vivek … no doubt hardworking and sincere ….I always find him busy with his stuff like niveshak, alum comm, cfa stuff, assignments etc …. But amazingly, even then he can easily find out time to help you out with anything….His advice in choosing my elective subjects, with a valid reason for every subject, helped me a lot… Infact one of the person from whom whenever I ask my finance doubts, he would explain them with such clarity that I actually find all those concepts to be so simple…. And ofcourse his amazing photoshop skills, hope he could find out some time to teach us photoshop also with same clarity…. :)
His battles with anshu are really interesting … And the slow transition from ‘bhak saala’ statement to ‘biggest hypocrite’ has been phenomenal :P
You are truly going to be an asset for your company… Wishing you luck for your future aspirations :)

  27. Though we come from the same college and had heard a lot about him there, I got to know him better only after joining IIM Shillong.. I had this notion of him being a very studious person, but never knew he was so creative until I came to know of his photoshop skills.. We all know how hardworking he is, and doesn’t leave any of his work incomplete.. If I have seen anyone prioritise his work so well, it’s Vivek.. There were so many occasions when we all used to go out for dinners, but he used to sit back, either studying for CFA or completing his Niveshak work, Alum work, etc.. It is truly an asset to have a person like him in any club or committee.. And HSBC of course realised it pretty well, offering him a PPO soon after the internship ended, ensuring that they don’t lose such a deserving and a diligent employee..
And on those few occasions when we did go out for eating, if it was not for Vivek, we would have always ended up wasting food cos there are people like Anshu who would feel that they are hungry, but when the food will come, there hunger would just go away.. Vivek used to come to our rescue in such times 
I haven’t shared this with anyone, but I have always considered Vivek as a benchmark, he was just perfect in everything he did.. There aren’t many people who can strike a balance between work and personal life the way he does.. I found a great friend in him who somehow can never say no to anyone.. The kind of hardwork that he always puts in, luck and destiny would always be there to support him..so I wouldn’t like to wish him luck, but just wish that I always stay in touch with him :):)
