ANKUSH GUPTA

17 comments:

  1. Very calm and composed (obvious hallmark of a placecommer); it was a pleasure to be a part of the team. Well he thinks that he has a very charming smile that attracts the opposite sex. But then I cannot deny that now :) can I ?? Big Thank you for redefining the word ‘achievement’ with the degree of concavity of the potbelly. Wishing you all the best in whatever you aspire to do. But one thing u r a very overrated cricketer HuH :)

  2. Ghaziabadi Bhai and dost, who would look like a serious and composed guy but is a total masti-khor and talkative person (Proper Ghaziabadi guy who has an experience of every good and bad thing :P). He has a great collection of books and loves reading not only books but also faces. He way he walks and the ways he gives ppt like Ghaziabadi Dada is fabulous. He is an awesome person who has always been there for me during my bad and good times, motivating me, helping me in understanding people and showing me the right path. Wish you all the very best in life DOST.

  3. Well, well, well…..Ankush was my first friend at IIM Shillong. I met him just before coming to the campus on the registration day. Then we met again in college, and that was just the beginning of the beautiful relationship of friendship that we share. Generous, hardworking, determined, caring are some of the words that describe him. Ankush is one person who could even melt a stone with his strong will power. He has always guided me where I stumbled, made me smile when I shed a tear and taught me the importance of hard work in life and made sure that I follow them too  He is a true friend who is always willing to cross all possible hurdles for his friends. Although he comes across as a bit of a serious kinda guy, but once you know him you will know what fun is all about. I hope my first friend remains a friend for the rest of our lives and I wish you a very happy and successful life ahead.

  4. Ankush ! Typical representative of U.P. Really very quiet and composed sort of person who seems to have a different looking glass for this world. A perfect blend of quietness and intelligence, rare to find. Passionate about his work and does not seem to be bragging at any point about his acheivements. Wish you best of luck for your career.

  5. Ankush is calmness personified. I have never seen this guy loose his calm and overreact to things. He is one guy which will take time to really open up to people but when he trusts you as a friend he just gives everything to friendship.
It was great fun working with him in Placecomm. His calmness and composure brought a different opinion/view to things and discussions and I will definitely miss those things the most in the times to come.
He is also a true Gaziabaadi, Jugaadu to the core. He loves food and that can be seen from the way his belly has grown in these two years. He portrays himself as a person who is rude but his heart is definitely not that hard: P. Well buddy it took you almost 2 years to commit but im happy on your choice and to say the least you two look awesomely amazing together.

  6. Ghaziabadi .. who never misses an opportunity to greet you when you pass by with a typical "Sirji"!
A very composed person. He is typical from UP. How many times.. i guess more than 10 times we had made journey to and from Shillong to home and every time we would have planned to go together but will eventually get our tickets booked in different trains :D

  7. Ankush is dedicated to his work and to …(u know what I mean :P), serious when it comes to group work, his bowling has made him famous and his trademark dialogue ‘bhai samajh nahi rahe ho bhai’ would be the start of many a sentences.
A gentleman, diplomatic at handling situations, level headed and hard working.
Stay the same :) Good luck!

  8. Kiddan ji ???
Ab kuchh bolungi to sab bolenge bahut bolti hai :P
First of all let me apologise for the numerous leg-pulling sessions ;) You must know I'm doing this only to maintain cordial relations with my future colleague.
But I truly wish that God gives you and _ a very happy future ahead. Maintain the dedication and serenity that you've been blessed with :)
Keep smiling humesha :) Miss me :P

  9. Gupta Ji....Charsi Ghaziabadi....Overall a very good guy...I am pretty sure I wouldn't have known him a lot if not for the very rare Group G, where he was the gutsy placecommer to be groupmates with three StudC members :P :P

He looks pretty serious by face but has a good sense of humour, one which I really realised during our Kolkata trip. I remember him taking up whatever Group task that we asked him to do, but never really opting for one from his side :P :P

It was good being with u Ankush Bhai...Do keep in touch..All the Best :)

  10. Bhai, inke baare mein jo likha jaye kam hai .. the placecommer, the aashiq, the bulletproof! I’ve known him well only in the past year – an entire year wasted! All the same, his calm and composed behaviour has attracted many. He’s a caring friend and one who is as dedicated towards work as he is towards maintaining his ‘lalaji’ persona . My partner in papaji’s leg pulling sessions, I’ll miss his sense of humour and storytelling. Have a great journey ahead Ankush!

His warm smile never betrays him.. Dedicated towards Placecomm work... We discussed someday that belly is a symbol of one's achievements and success story.. Hope u have the biggest belly (figuratively) ;) ;) Cheerss!!!

  12. 'Bade!' A person who is fun loving and always smiling. I love his 'Bindaas' attitude. Always stays calm and composed.

Thank you for tolerating all my 'leg-pulling'. U never retaliated back; on the contrary smiled back or said "kyun leta hai tu, bhai meri?". I promise I ll continue doing it!!

    All the best wishes!

  13. Composed is the first thing tat comes to my mind when i think of my fellow groupie ... i have never seen him lose his temper for any thing .. always soft spoken and when those words come out with his deep voice u feel ur really talking to a gentleman... extremely well mannered.. he is the kind of guy who gives the sophisticated feel when he is around ... i always have been in awe of the way he carries himself... really enjoyed the times we ve spent together in group G , presenting all the stupid crap .. and ya the cricket matches we ve played together.. and hahaha u re luck did run out finally this yr in Kopda.. but anyways it is really nice tat u were a part of the winning team in every single cricket tournament held in coll ... hope ur a part of a lot of other winning moments in the days to come :) and yes i definitely want to see u as a politician one day !!!

  14. Ankush Gupta aka 'Charsi Ghaziabaadi' have been my neighbour in the 1st year and I know I have disturbed him so much that he would still kill me for those days when I used to make him hear my slangful songs. Ankush is a gentleman when it comes to girls He would try to help in every aspect and his legendary quote 'Thand Rakh Bhai, 5 min de...issue aa gaya hai, kaam karta hun'. Ankush can become a very serious candidate during exams skipping lunch, dinner and would stay in his room for long hours. Due to his dedication only 1 day before the exam, he would score good marks and then after exams he would carry on with his normal life. I remember him drinking water from a beer mug and he would never indulge in boozing. A core member of Team BBC and C-Block rightists, we were the Kurushetra champions and his bowling was a real fun to watch. A core Finance guy and he works a lot to know Fin. His CP in class especially Finance electives can be legendary and he would go to any extreme to impress the faculties through his case analysis and CP.

I wish him best of luck for his future and have a 'Thand and Rocking Life'.

  15. Ankush always exudes an impression of calmness and intelligence typical of a placecommer. I am sure that the trait of answering while giving nothing out will stand him in good stead throughout his life. All the best Ankush!

  16. Ankush Gupta is a calm and composed guy. He's one person who never gets his due reward for his placecomm work - you have been an asset and i know placecomm realizes that :) I and a few others did our level best to keep his winning run continue in Cricket - finally it had to end in Kopda this year :) I remember the chat we had with Partha on whom we call 'achievers' in life :P Be an achiever always :D

Wish you have a great life ahead and hope to see you around :)

  17. I remember that day, when I was to sing for fresher’s night and Aparna told me, “Ankush ne kaha hai ki teri roomie ko batana, who gana mera favourite song hai.. Toh ache se practice kare aur ache se gaye jaise ..” and trust me, though I am usually not when it comes to singing, but that day got extra conscious ;)

How can I forget, how you used to give one ‘POLO’ every day to Aparna from day 1 and when she used to come from class, she used to share that with me, saying, “Dekh aaj bhi usne yeh diya”.. It brings smile to me, thinking of that time ;) Laddoo to kab se photo rahe the tere man me, aur officially declare ab jake kiya ;) Wish you both a wonderful life together…

I admire your dedication for your goal (courtesy: your yellow paged notes full of essays and that day, I came to know another side of You.. brilliant, emotional and sacrificing) I hope you can read persons better now..

I cherish you as a friend.. helping, understanding, comforting, and more than that a very good person at heart..

Wishing you all the success and happiness for your life ahead ;)
