SIDDHARTHA WAGH

14 comments:

  1. Sid has been my neighbour for around two years now, i.e. the entire duration of our stay at IIM-S, and in the said time he's become quite a good friend.

He is one of the most decent & unassuming fellows in our batch - simple-hearted & always willing to help his friends. I've never seen him resort to any kind of attention-grabbing antics or below-the-belt humour that so many people love resorting to - this, in my opinion, is a clear indication of his sense of dignity & his disposition.

Okay, a few more things ought to be mentioned about him - he's quietly hard-working (never brags about it), has great sense of responsibility (if he takes something up, rest assured he'll get it done), and well, despite his introverted nature, he does love having a good laugh from time to time.

Take care brother, and always retain your unassuming nature & sense of dignity - two attributes that truly differentiate you from so many others.

  2. SiddharthA- yep, there has to be A in the End ;)- has been neighbour and friend in college for 2 years. He has been my neighbour, Study Group mate, one of the closest friend throughout the stay...
When I got to know him well- I was highly shocked and surprised- I mean, I had heard that the Engineers who dont Swear are myths... :P But LoBehold... Here was the guy- when you come to know him- your respect for him automatically rises a notch..
An unassuming fellow by nature, I have rarely seen Siddhartha angry... Even while cursing him as IT Comm- he used to laugh with us... Always there to help, a simple guy and have simple tastes in life...
The Phrase: "Sorry!Sorry!Sorry!" is patented by him... But it is just another example of how even amidst anything- he never wants to offend anyone...
With me being his group mate- have seen his work-ethics, seen him working hard and slogging it off..
He's perfect example of "one of those guys whom everybody likes.."

I can easily say- knowing him and being his friend for 2 years- He will always be liked and respected by others...
Glad to know him as a person and as a frnd, and hope to stay in touch with him,

    Cheers,
    Priyansh!

  3. One of the most underrated participant of our batch, ready to help out anyone anytime. I relied upon him a lot for the study group works. Anything, you ask him & it's done following his trademark "no problem, no problem, no problem" statement. It requires a patience of Wagh's level to tolerate my irritating jibes. I can confidently say that he is a true team player, hard worker who is destined to achieve great heights. All the very best mate..

  4. Siddhartha is among the most hardworking, sincere, modest and straightforward people in our batch. A go-to man when it comes to IT committee work, he works in the background and shuns 'limelight'. The best team mate you can hope for, he can make life easy if he is in your study group - sometimes too easy :)

I consider myself very fortunate to have him as a friend. All the best for your future.

  5. I have known Siddhartha since my engineering college and has been a wonderful friend to have.

He is one of the most hard working guys on campus. Any one who has had to deal with the IT comm would know that. In fact he is one guy whom you would want to have in every study group. :)

He goes to great lengths to ensure that he doesn't offend anyone. In fact, it is almost impossible to make him lose his temper no matter what. He is exceedingly helpful and would never refuse anyone's request.

Modest that he is not many ppl know that he is a very good batsman.(That his batting extends to the TT table as well is a different matter altogether)

BTW he strongly believes in repeating anything he says three times for added effect. And has a surprisingly tiny appetite (especially considering the name he is popularly known by in campus).

To finish this line courtesy Rishi:

Do take care... after all only 1411 left :):):)

  6. One of the most shy participant of PGP10. Owing to his second name and our fertile brains he shares every name that any species of tiger has. But surely he is one of the most reserved (meaning timid not as in 'Reserved forest' :P) to be found.

An awesome friend and a hardworking person, it has been a great experience to have him as a fellow member of IT Comm. Silently and almost single-handedly he has handled all the VCs that our batch had during this period of stay at Shillong.

I am surely to say that I was knocked by his knowledge of electronics and electrical related subjects which I was fortunate enough to have a glimpse of. Have a great life and stay in touch. :)

  8. He is best known for his trademark style of saying things “ Sorry Sorry Sorry” , “ Seriously Seriously Seriously”. A very dedicated IT Committee member…has been always helpful in debugging IT network problems for me. Also a very patient guy….you can take his case as much as you want :D.

An extremely helpful and hardworking guy…has been always helpful during the Finance assignment submissions that we had shared :P. Not just hardworking, he is an extremely modest and down to earth guy.. a killer combo for success.

Wishing you all the best for your future and keep in touch :)

    Regards,
    Kaustubh

    1. Kaustubh is one of the most entertaining persons around. He is a prankster and his jokes can make you laugh ( as well as cry:P:P). His academic record is one of the strongest in the batch but is very down to earth. He has now also taken some mimicry skills from his ex room mate. He was the first person too whom I approached during fin assignments ;).

This guy has developed by leaps and bounds in TT and makes opponents game hell. Kaustubh has also been a great company during our journeys to home or vice versa.

The best part about him is that he has the potential to succeed in any area he chooses. It was really awesome to have him as a friend and a wingie in these years and I look forward to keep in touch with him in the future. All the best dude!!

  10. After 2 years of listening to his presentations and witnessing group presentations, the impression I have of Siddhartha is that of an extremely hardworking and down-to-earth person. He’s been taking care of VC work perfectly without hogging the limelight – both very rare traits. Here’s wishing him all the very best for his future :)

  11. Wagh is one of the closest friends I made here and he is one of the nicest too. Like many others would have noticed and appreciated, I really appreciate his humility.

Wagh is always a fun guy to be around and he makes people comfortable around him. His interest in good movies was always appreciated by near and dear :)

There are a few things I want to mention here, like the fact that he is a good cricketer and does not like to travel or even take short walks, except when it is required.

My life here has definitely been better because of him. I wish him all the best.

  12. Siddhartha, someone whose name brings image of a quiet, modest and kool guy who has been staying in the same wing as me for the past 2 years and someone with a calm demeanour and someone who is a real buddy with everyone. While sitting back in my room, with the door being locked I often hear him laughing aloud, in the hostel wing and when I get to know the reason as to why he was laughing I am bound to appreciate his sense of humour. Most of the time, I find him running from post to pillar to keep up with the crippled IT infrastructure in our campus (actually it has been sabotaged and it did not crippled on its own). He is always ready to lend out a helping hand to anyone at any hour of the day despite his own hectic schedule. He always takes any joke targeted to him in a light spirit and never frets. Definitely, Siddhartha is a fantastic person and it’s a fun to have his company. Best of Luck Dude !
