one person whom I have irritated a lot by pulling his leg and teasing him with one and only one person :P. He never complained and always replied with a cute smile ‘why always me’. A very sweet, innocent, cute and kind-hearted person always ready to help you out. Really miss those Gurgaon days when he stayed with Pam who kept calling him sardar in such a way that one girl thought his name was Siddharth. Had fun playing cards, roaming around, playing badminton, pulling his leg, etc. Cant forget the day, when there was auto-strike and we went in a cycle rickshaw. I really apologies for all the Gurgaon case taking sessions, but ya it was fun :P Well, wish you all the very best in life ahead.
If I have to define Manbir in MBA terms, he is a "FARZI" person. Popularly known as Nakli because of his in capabilities to prove himself a true Punjabi Sardar- he can't do a Bhangra, his blood doesn't bubbles when you say a joke on Sardar!! But he has a magical smile which can charm anyone and everyone (starting from seniors to juniors). He is an efficient person who would associate himself with a work till the last moment- quality which I came across while working with him in Group-F. We used to fight on who used to do more work for the group( offcourse it was me :D:D). It was nice knowing you and working with you. Wish you great success ahead. Keep that charming smile always on your face :)
Popularly known as nakli (because he doesn't know bhangda and some say even punjabi), Manbir was my roomie for the first year.
Expert at dividing up work and assigning responsibilities, Manbir is an highly efficient guy with an amazing clarity of thoughts. The ease with which he would explain chapters to us before exams is wonderful.
And who can forget the trackmania... though you lost almost every time (and gaurav would agree with me here :D) it was great fun...
I thoroughly enjoyed the company... So much so I would definitely prefer going back to B-7 over the single rooms here.
There are just a few traits of a Sardar in him and this is the reason he is called “Nakli” by everyone. :P Sophisticated, well read, sleeps..eats..and drinks Marketing, ConQuest member - his strategy skills are no less, he can very eloquently voice his thoughts and opinions. Hates mess food to the hilt and would be seen in the night canteen buying Maggie, chips and cola on a regular basis :P :P He can keep his composure even when he has to listen to a drunken Pam. Jokes apart, he is a chap who can amuse you with his cricket skills (which saved Khatron Ke Khiladi’s grace_/\_) Manbir wish you achieve all that you aspire for. ATB :)
None of these words often used to describe this guy, do him justice. Yes, he is genuinely a nakli, guys find him sophisticated and gals cute; but the most apt description for this guy is 'LOGICAL'. He can find sense in the most mind boggling situations leaving you to wonder "how come i didn't think of that!". He really takes his work seriously, and expects others to do the same. This guy can smile even while you are pulling his leg, an admirable quality I would say.
I’ll always remember the time we spent on making those awesome business plans . . those trips to Subway and all those ‘chalo manbir ki maarte hain’ sessions :P. And whoever said that man needs ‘food’ to survive, didn't know Manbir; he has lasted two years on a daily dose of Coke, Chips and Maggie - must have been responsible for like half the sales of ‘Blessed Store’.
One of the different breed of ****** that I have come across. I really find it hard to associate you with your name :P. An ignorant member of the ignored committee :P
Okay leg pulling apart…Let me tell you that you are one of the finest people I have met till now. Your approach towards undertaking different assignments is what differentiates you from others. Keep this spirit going and I think you will make it till the end.
I have been lucky enough to work along side you on several assignments, be it a group project or ConQuest work or competitions or so on. I thoroughly enjoyed working with you and tried to learn some effective skills of writing and communication.
And, regarding future I hope it would be fun to work again together if you wish to join TS. Would love to hear your experiences in rural India :)
Manbir more popularly known as 'Nakli' is a sophisticated Sardar. He is a speaker who often surprises the listeners with his logical conclusions and good articulation. He is a person who can often think out-of-box in any given situation.
His love for 'Coke' and 'Lays' is known across boundaries. Gals find him 'cute', especially the seniors in ours college.
Manbir is a shy, innocent, cute and straightforward guy who speaks his heart out. Has a daily routine which he follows come what may, and takes a daily dose of Chips and Coke (his favourites: P)
I would describe him as the sophisticated sardar with an IPhone who knows how to talk. I admire him for his presentation skills. He can talk about almost everything in the world but with logic.
A great fielder I must say, rite Manbir :P More famous as Nakli but he is better that ways :P Fun to have him around. :-)
I had never met a vegetarian sardar before meeting you. I had never met such peaceful sardar before meeting you. I had never met such a shy sardar before meeting you. I had never met such a sophisticated sardar before meeting you. I had defintely met brilliant and hardworking sardars like you before though :) God bless you with everything you do :) Keep smiling humesha :) Miss me :P
Manbir was always a sincere student - i remember two things: 1. how he used to come to my room in the first year to ask us about the various assignments that we had :) 2. how he used to underline each and every line in Kotler while studying :D
He is a very good speaker and can give a lot of 'out-of-box' answers to various problems. The fact that he is well-read helps him here. He and Pam are two contrasting sardars i have met :D
Manbir was always part of my team in the second year for every cricket tournament - he was always an asset to our team with his all-round skills :)
Hope you have a great life ahead and hope to see you around :)
“Chalo Nakli ki Maarte hain” … has been one of the sentences we (u know who all) used most during the past two years. It was awesome fun getting into a discussion with you, and you trying to find logic in everything. He is the only one in college who brushes after getting full ready in business formals (we have a pic so you can’t deny that). He is one of the rarest of Sardars who don’t eat non-veg. He drinks only Vodka (because hard drinks ki smell isse pasand nai hai…) and u can never find a more sophisticated Sardar than him.
Jokes apart… There are some people with whom your frequency matches instantly, for me Manbir has been one of them. He has been my companion in almost everything here, from going home together to various outings, from studying for exams to doing competitions together, from playing TT to even Gyming (ya we both went there for few days).
Apart from being a great presenter, he always makes superb PPT (many people don’t know that but we won many events because of that). Kya Phodu English hai bhai iss ki, undoubtedly he is the person with best Literary skills in our batch.
He has survived in Shillong on a staple diet of one bottle of Coke and one packet of chips every day (One incident that I still remember is, once even the store lady asked him if he was fine as he had not come to buy stuff yesterday) One gem of a person he is. Has always been a go getter and strongly believes in his abilities rather than other means (adopted by many here). He has always cracked the first interview he sat for, be it committee, clubs or even job. Please improves your TT skill, I am bored of defeating you and I hope you have not deleted Trackmania after the humiliating loses from Tejas and me. Cricket aur FiFa 2007 mein bhi tera kuch nai hona (pun intended).
I have consistently….. on a regular basis taken your case(ya I enjoyed that) but Manbir I have learnt a lot from you.. a lot.. You have been a great friend and have helped me a lot whenever I was in some problem. Ya man u saved my ass this December (you know what I am talking about), I owe that one to you :-)
You are the most genuine person I have met here, be the way you are and I am sure you gonna reach the CXO position very soon.
