Slow-poison……a very thin and a very tall girl who eats really slow, wakes up till 4am and keeps sitting in front of blower and staring at the laptop, wakes up 15mins before the class, sleeping in most of the lectures, speaks very fast, plays TT, always ready to help, a very caring person, consultant, laughs at all my PJs, never gets irritated…… Cant really forget the awesome Gurgaon days when she used to go with her Maruti Cap and uniform. We pull her leg all the time on her way of walking, talking, eating but she never got pissed. She has always been my neighbor, whom I can approach anytime for anything ranging from sweets to assignments. A patient listener and a very understanding person. One person who is never seen tensed or sad or any such thing. One of those people who spend lots of time in mess, talking and laughing on random topics..!
The bindaas girl who actually stands upto her good name! Always has a big smile glued to her face, she laughs at your stupid jokes, scolds you at your idiotic talks and has some weird timings for doing certain things. She has never missed a class, but has always been the last person to reach a class. In the 1st year, when the girls used to queue up in the washrooms with buckets in hands in the morning, Kranti would sleep peacefully in her room with all worldly tensions out of her mind. When everybody rushed to the mess for breakfast, Kranti would wake up and will brush her teeth very araam se. Most of us eat in the mess as if we have flights to catch, but Kranti is just deeply involved in her eating process and takes hours to complete.For her, all such petty things are never to be worried about. I just love the sweets she brought from home and I am really going to miss them. A hardworking, passionate and ambitious girl, she has really worked hard and that's the sole reason of her standing where she is now. The back bone of our group. extremely talented and extremely hardworking. she would keep all the deadlines and remind us of our group work. I knew at the back of my mind that ok, Kranti is there, so nothing to worry. She could take care of it all. though she would get angry at our negligence at times. but she is very composed and very patient. extremely good at ops and number crunching. she takes around an hour in the mess to finish a meal. Kranti's easily one of the people with the biggest hearts around here. When I came to college, I remember hoping for a single room. I remember being disappointed to be on the first floor. But looking back, I realize first year would have been tough without Kranti. All the QT/Ops/SPSS gyaan, the gossip, the secrets (she's one person I know its safe to tell secrets to!), her (literally) last minute submissions, all the times I made her publicly declare me as best roommate ever - the memories are numerous. What strikes me as most remarkable about her is how large-hearted and selfless she is -- I can't think of a single time she's said no to me. There really is so much to learn from her.
You are really really going to be missed, Kranti (you've spoiled me so much!). I wish you the very best in life - you truly deserve it. Much love.
Kranti appears to me as someone who enjoys her life to the hilt. She has a great passion for the studies so much so that I would recommend her to ISO organization as a benchmark for "Tips from Kranti: A revolutionary product to make Studying attractive !" but its sad that ISO doesnt have any such standards. Her sincerity and hardwork have always been exemplary and inspiring for dumb people as me. Besides her sincerity another great thing about her is that she has too much patience and she simply smiles when Kaustubh and I are busy, cracking utter nonsensical jokes at the dinner table. Definitely, one needs to have a rock hard patience to bear such mind boggling jokes (in short deadly jokes). Apart from studying Kranti is a sports enthusiast and most of the time she would fight others in the common room for her chance. Earlier she used to handle even TT racket like a 10-kg dumbell but now she can handle it easily and beat others easily ( beat others in the game and not with the racket :) ) Her dedication towards studies was very much evident when we all used to bunk the Advanced QT classes (Proff Bankuti) because it was a 0 credit course and she used to answer all the questions by that European Proff who language and accent was so alien and her course seemed like we were being prepared for some Rocket Launching science. Jokes apart , Kranti is a role model for social loafers and she is sure to acheive great heights in her career. Wish you all the best, Kranti !
Kranti is the best group mate u could think of having!!!!! It was amazing that how Kranti would easily adjust with my late night and last moment working habits. I can never forget the times when we used to be sitting together till around3-4 am just to finish assignments and also our long discussions on random topics. Kranti is a very hardworking and a talented girl….she always had a solution for a problem. She had a liking for operations and of course I discovered her great fondness for “Maruti Dress” in Gurgaon :P

Kranti... THE CONSULTANT I really enjoy teasing her and playing TT with her. She is really very helpful and can never say no to you for anything. I remember submitting my assignments many times copied directly from her ;) She is very punctual and was the CEO of her group. She will do the group meeting in scheduled time no matter if any of her groupees is present or not ;) You can always see her smiling in mess. Her pickle was a great motivator for Deep to eat extra food in mess ;) She really has a heart of Gold and I am really luck to have her as my friend. All the best Kranti and remember me always :)
A late-comer, slow eater, Slimmest of all, n probably tallest of all the girls- this defines Kranti. Its very easy to irritate this girl and then to see the deadly looks on her face which if says if you don't stop I will hit you right now (as if she is capable of doing so :D). Apart from these, she is also hard-working, good in mugging up cases, and off- late in 2nd year she also learnt the art of doing DP in class ( 1st year was spent sleeping in the class, and that too in each and everyone's class ALWAYS). A good person from heart though (PJ ALERT :D). Wish u great success ahead Kranti. May you someday take Kranti SOaps of Shillong to greater heights than Shillong peak :D. Keep Smiling Always :)
Kranti - the Partner Director at Deloitte is one of the most genuine person you would come across. She is known for her slow eating at the Mess and she is so slow that the official Mess Timings falls short of 'Kranti Timings'. I have heard from people in her study groups and from other groups that she is extremely sincere and hardworking. If Kranti is in your group, then you won't have to worry a single moment. She is a very intelligent person and can amaze you with her analytical mind. She is also one of those rare girls in our batch who can play sports expecially TT. Playing TT with her is real fun, she would laugh her guts out at all the incidents in a match and if the match has Saket,Niketa and me with Kranti, then the common room would reverbate with huge laughter.
I used to tease her a lot at the mess, a place where we would usually meet. The best thing is as Ankush has already pointed out, she gets irritated with every small comment and would pass on funny expressions and sometimes would try to intimidate people by saying 'Marungi' and pulling over the plates. Well she has never actually intimated or hit anyone, without Kranti and Niketa, lunch and dinner would never have been so much fun. Apart from the fun we used to have many spicy pickles from our own 'Achari Devi-Kranti'. She actually has made the whole eating experience at mess wonderful.
A very incident anecdote which comes to my mind is after her placements as a consultant, me, Kaustubh and Maalik recruited ourselves to Deloitte under Kranti and have considered her as our employer. When we used to greet her, she would treat us as real employees asking us about our family and lives...alas there have been no signs of pay increase but till now.
I would wish Kranti all the best in her future and be like you are. Keep rocking as a slow eater and relishing life.
The camaraderie which I share with Kranti cannot be described in words. But will try my best to do justice to my thoughts… She is frail looking but strong, smart yet simple, intelligent but humble, never misses any class but never reaches on time :P, pays a lot of attention to the lappy during class but u ask her anything and pat comes the reply, a go-getter, loves helping friends in their times of need (esp Exams), Ops enthusiast, to be Consultant ( and Partner Director soon :) ).. She has been my partner in many a B fest events, TT matches, night canteen trips and outings. We’ve had some really long chat sessions where we’ve poured our heart out to each other. Though I have had to spend extra minutes at the mess (given the fact that the mess timing have been designed keeping u in mind) I have never regretted it! (I want a chocolate for having said that :P) Her sense of empathy, interpreting my various emotions and lifting me out of sad moods and motivating me when I am disillusioned are some things I am really thankful about. Had it not been for u, I would have given up many a times. Thanks for being there all along! Having known you for two years I know you have the potential to make it big and you surely will. ATB! This Owl, who stays up entire nights,and latecomer (so as to intentionally make her famous) is so knowledgeable, skilful and talented that she can fit any framework in any task you are doing. A person who is so passionate about acads, assignments that she can conduct meetings "alone" and complete tasks. With her in group you can be rest assured tht submissions will be on time. The way she walks is the best example of "Random-Walk" model that would put any drunkard to shame! But a great person, who is ready to help you anytime. One person who can compete with me or Baba in coming late to the class would be Kranti. She is always there to give me company during the late times of lunch and dinner in the mess. An intelligent, smart, humble, soft spoken girl who is ready to help her friends anytime. She is one of those persons with whom you can easily have any conversation without any kind of mental barrier. Seems chilled out and relaxed most of the times, doesn’t take things too seriously, very good TT player and one who knows a lot of old/new hindi songs (can give strong competition to people like Jitesh in antakshari).

Kranti is one of the smartest people in the batch and I’ve always felt that she should have been an IITian after a brief project we did for TBLA in the first year. She can bring in lot of clarity to vague situations with great analytical skills.
It was fun to see how consistent she was in doing things, like the time at which she enters classes. She is one batchmate who has a great sense of humour. I am confident she will rise to great heights in her career and wish her best of luck.
Kranti – The partner director to-be of Deloitte is a very intelligent and lazy girl. She does everything at the last minute/late, but, she does it so well, be it assignments or even coming to class. This Owl, who stays up entire nights,and latecomer (so as to intentionally make her famous) is so knowledgeable, skilful and talented that she can fit any framework in any task you are doing. A person who is so passionate about acads, assignments that she can conduct meetings "alone" and complete tasks. With her in group you can be rest assured tht submissions will be on time. The way she walks is the best example of "Random-Walk" model that would put any drunkard to shame!

Kranti is one of those cheerful persons in the batch - tall and lean figure - lighter than air she is :D Me and Papaji always used to wonder as to why Kranti doesn't fly :P
ReplyDeleteShe's very strong with statistics and mathematics - like all telugu ppl on our batch :) She's a good TT player as well. She and Niketa are two girls who love to travel a lot and they seek adventures and love to explore new places :)

One person who can compete with me or Baba in coming late to the class would be Kranti. She is always there to give me company during the late times of lunch and dinner in the mess. An intelligent, smart, humble, soft spoken girl who is ready to help her friends anytime. She is one of those persons with whom you can easily have any conversation without any kind of mental barrier. Seems chilled out and relaxed most of the times, doesn’t take things too seriously, very good TT player and one who knows a lot of old/new hindi songs (can give strong competition to people like Jitesh in antakshari).

Kranti is one of the smartest people in the batch and I’ve always felt that she should have been an IITian after a brief project we did for TBLA in the first year. She can bring in lot of clarity to vague situations with great analytical skills.
ReplyDeleteIt was fun to see how consistent she was in doing things, like the time at which she enters classes. She is one batchmate who has a great sense of humour. I am confident she will rise to great heights in her career and wish her best of luck.
Kranti – The partner director to-be of Deloitte is a very intelligent and lazy girl. She does everything at the last minute/late, but, she does it so well, be it assignments or even coming to class. Her eating speed deserves special mention without question. She is responsible for a large portion of the time I spend in the mess :) She is extremely good at analytical reasoning, has a great grasping power and can do quant better than most people here. Has her set of priorities in life and is clear about it; Lives by her own rules and knows what she wants and what she doesn’t. Athletic and adventurous: plays all the sports here and is always ready for an outing/trek/movie/whatever. A gossip queen: she is enthusiastically aware of what is happening throughout the campus. ReplyDeleteOne of the patli kamars of PGP10, Kranti is one person who could give stiff competition to Baba in coming late to class :P Lazy tat she is ;) But it would not be long before one would uncover her hardworking nature.... Intelligent, at the same time enthusiastic about doing a lot of other things.. A well-known face during Rannbhoomi TT matches,she brings happiness to a lot of people by getting her oown legs pulled :P Kranti, Deloitte is lucky to have u and u too r lucky to b bac in hyderabad ;) Keep Rocking as always :) ATB!!

krantiiiii!!! i owe my degree to you! yeah she s sooo helpful... and obviously she is sooo intelligent... kind too - made me her TT partner in d 1st year inspite of me playing it sleepily :) guess she realized her mistake and is now a very good TT player :) sooo thin that she comes 30 mins late to class w/o d prof noticing... brilliant at ops, numbers-qt ( jealous of that :| ) . . i wonder what u think while eating...

In a place where late comers get no entry inside the class, she is one and only one of those respected personality, where classes are not started until she enters!! Slow in everything she does, but mind you! Slow and steady wins the race!! And she has proved it :)
