A sweet, chhoti si bholi bhali bacchi..!!! That was the first impression I had about this girl. But no, I was completely wrong on judging her. The first week when PGP announced the study groups I was very happy for “the cutest girl of PGP10 “is in my group . Very confident girl and really good at marketing. Hard working and sometimes becomes angry if work is not done in time (Ishant has better experiences: p). Very helpful person and would even complete the tasks of other group members when situation demands. A good dancer and a great party lover. I have seen her as a member of cultural committee taking loads of pain to make the cultural nights is a success.

Payal gives a whole new meaning to the word ‘bindaas’, she’s the most chilled out girl on campus and can give all the guys a run for their money with regards to her ribald sense of humour. She’s extremely friendly and outspoken and this has made sure that we’ve gotten along tremendously well. She’s a wonderful dancer and her love for performing arts has made sure she’s done her job as a cultcomm member to the fullest and enjoyed every moment of it. When I saw Payal on the registration, moving around; it occured to me that probably she is some highschool grader and must have come along with her elder sibling to take a look at the campus. But when I saw her again in the class, next day I was so astonished. Though she looks like a small kid but take upon even the tallest Boys (read Baba) and terrify them. Even I used to get terrified of her when she used to lose her kool. She also happened to be in the same study group as mine and then I realized how deceiving the looks can be, at times. Payal can slog like anything and she along with Anil came to the rescue of our group, lot many times. She is a great dancer and her cheerful smile always seem to lighten up the tensed situations. There is another dimension of this hard-wokrking and sincere girl; she is a party lover and has made our bland academic schedules become so lively and fun filled. Wish you all the best Payal !
Payal-I couldn't have imagined ever that you would work so hard on the group Assignments as I later understood you were working harder then anybody else in the group. I was indeed a great fun working with you in the group as you were calm and composed and never worried about the deadlines or the workload.

Payal is a small, sweet and cute girl who always speaks only the truth no matter what - some of the testimonials she wrote are proofs to that :D I also have a video which when released will again go on to show that she speaks truth and only plain truth (Ballu and Bhim might have something to say on this video) :D
She's a graceful dancer - along with Ragini, Nagar, Sana and Shubhi, she has enthralled us with many of her dance performances :) The one pic that comes to my mind when i think of Payal is the one where she and Nagar would stand sandwiched between the towering figures of Shubham and Baba - such a cute pic it is :)

Appearances can be deceptive and yes, she definitely proves the phrase right. At first sight I am sure people will think that she is a cute harmless girl but in reality she can give a tight slap to even a guy twice her size. I can personally vouch for that because I have been a victim of the same, though by mistake but yes a victim indeed :(. FATAAKKK, Its sound still resonates in my ears and the handprints still engraved on my face :( . To add to that she likes taking case of people. Ask anyone from the batch and I guess all of them will have some story or the other narrating her mischief and the way she took their case and then laughed in her typical shrieking voice :P
Her aversion to sweets and chocolates but extreme fondness to caramel custard and pineapple pastries is something I cannot fathom. Her best friend is her mirror and her comb. She likes posing in front of the mirror and making poses as if she is the next miss universe: P. she likes imitating and making fun of how people run but I am telling you for a fact that her running is even more hilarious: P.
A complete chatterbox, her stories are never ending. For every incident and occasion she has some story or the other. Sometimes I wonder, Is she really 24 or 40? :P How can someone has so many incidents to narrate? She can be like a kid, stubborn and engrossed while playing Fruit ninja but the very next moment you can expect some weird ribald comments which can even make guys like me blush. Her energy levels are unmatched; if the subject and the context interest her else she will always be sleepy and bored. One can clearly know in which room or wing she is, only through her unique voice. I personally have woken a lot of times hearing her loud shrieking laughs in the corridor.
To this fun side of hers, there is an extremely talented and hard working girl. I always thought Marketing is Bakar but her and Somjeet’s VEET ppt proved me wrong. It was one of the best marketing PPTs I have seen till now and from then on I could never say that Marketing is all Bakar. Whatever little marketing I know, I owe it to her. She only helped me pass Marketing 2 by messaging all answers to quizzes and briefing the cases before the class or even submitting those stupid one pagers of cases.
Some people are meant for some particular role and she is one of them. She defines cultcomm, an amazing dancer, actor and an extremely creative person. If not people like her I am sure first year wouldn’t have been so wonderful.
Never let the kid inside you fade away, be the way you are and make people around you smile and happy!
Payal is definitely the most bubbly and chirpy girl around... She has this lovely resonating laugh which you could hear any time of the day and in any hostel....People could easily be fooled by her appearance (pretty and petite) but beware!! We have pretty similar views on how girls should behave..Hope you remember that small discussion of ours :P Being a fellow cultcommer, a groupie in one of the marketing subjects, I know she is an efficient worker and gives her best shot always!! At the same time she can be an exacting person!! Our sales mgt play, practice sessions, making guys dance, parties or cultcomm meetings/outings wouldn't have been this great widout u :) I am sure you are on your way to becoming a great marketer.. Payal is one of the most bubbly and chirpy persons on campus… I can never forgive her for those endless comments on me .. but she is a gal whom u can always count on … she may be tiny but has a big heart .. a person who lives life to the fullest .. she talks so much … smiles big .. and laughs even bigger… she always spreads that happiness quotient around … she keeps everyone around her happy… wat I really like about her is her eyes… they speak so much … especially when she has caught u red handed, or when she is up to something mischievous – u shud see the glow on her eyes.. they really glow.. m ready to get caught a million times jus to see that glow payal :)
A true cult comm material she has kept all of us happy right thru .. and am sure she will continue making me smile and admire her even after we pass out !!
My dance partner since the past 1 year :). Very active, talkative, smart, sweet and friendly girl. She can just talk, talk and talk for hours narrating various incidents of her life or go on teasing/imitating people and its fun when she is around. She can make the atmosphere quite lively by bringing up some conversation or cracking a joke, which again would be quite difficult to counter with, in case you are the target. :P
I share some things in common with her like not being very fond of sweets, chocolate cakes , and liking pineapple pastries, which was quite a relief coz I realised I alone am not so strange in such aspects :P. Really love the way she writes small articles or poems and its really surprising how she does that because it requires her to be or to think like a completely different person. Very dedicated when it comes to work, be it acads or competitions like VEET case or be it Cult Comm work. I have seen her level of commitment and dedication she puts in for the Cult Comm work , specially last year farewell. And yes, it goes without saying, her ideas and her marketing acumen is also really good. She is going to be a great marketer. I’ll also never forget the way and speed with which she cracked all the clues in Pictionary round in HR event.
Awesome dancer she is, really dances with ease and can recall all the steps very well at one go with minimal practice. It was pleasure dancing with her and will always remember all the dances that we did together. :)

At first glance, Payal is a very DOWN TO EARTH person (literally : P). I guess the fact that she has grown only so much substantiates my first statement :D. She dances like a PEACOCK :P:P. When she hears a joke, she ll give an artificial smile as if she understood coz it takes time for the words to reach her ears. Of course, when someone is DOWN TO EARTH in their height, this dissonance can be forgiven :D:D. Payal looks upto people and she does not mind if people look down upon her coz that’s the only way we can speak to her :P.
Coming to the more nicer things about payal. True to the English meaning of her name, payal sure does sound like an anklet. Anklets though small in size make a lot of sound and the best part is that people love those sounds. Payal is just like that : SMALL, laughs incessantly but people adore her :) I remember the first time I spoke to her. It was on the day of registration when we were discussing about what all intro courses to take and I was giving my newly acquired gyan to three lovely looking ladies. I still dunno if Payal thanked me sincerely or I was her first victim :P. She has an amazing sense of humour and can take up people’s case with ease. I ve been at the receiving end on some occasions too and the starting few lines of this testi is to get back at you for that :D:D.
I guess she was born to be a cult commer. Be it the amazing dance performances that she has given over the past 2 years or the numerous parties she has organized or the awesome farewell for seniors or the bonfires hosted, Payal has been at the centre of it all. The way u pronounce Mandipati’s name is just hilarious :D:D:D. Although we ve not interacted personally, it was nice knowing you and I ll cherish these moments. Someone who is really good at painting…can also write poems and articles. My table tennis opponent who has beaten me almost all the times we have played together (I have won handful of matches thou :P). But don’t forget guru kaun tha :P
A shopaholic who is addicted to shopping and largely believes in retail therapy. Someone who started planning about farewell dress a month back as if it’s her wedding :P :P
A fun loving person and it’s always fun when she is around. Someone who is good at taking others case, have been at the receiving end for past two years :-( mera bhi chance aayega :P
Someone with great dancing skills; can perform any dance with elegance & ease. A cultcommer and a great friend who is always there for you and someone who likes to live in her dreamland.
Someone who can lend words of wisdom anytime, and trust me those words have helped me many times over. Payal has a huge fan following (Sakshi and Sana can tell better :P) and has been the gelling factor for many of us in the group.
She is a bundle of energy and widely famous for her double meaning jokes and lewd humour, a girl who doesn’t like chocolates. Who can go on and on with her endless stories.. a kid at heart but obstinate at times.
Have spent a lot of time together, be it walks or endless talks. Will certainly miss you.! One of the best friends I had here. :-)

Free advice: As they say never judge a book by its cover, likewise never judge Payal by her height, She can’t certainly kick anyone's a**.
Payal proves the very famous saying of “Great things come in small packages”. One of the most bubbly, charismatic and tiny personalities I have ever met. If she starts talking then toh she can go on talking for one full day without a break. She is the bonding factor in our group and can always be found in our wing only.
She looks small but guys beware she is by no means less than a 6’2” guy, and her jokes can even make even a guy shy, she is also very good at taking others case (though others majorly include Bhim rest all were spared or were busy in taking Bhim’s case only). Payal’s hit ratio of understanding a double meaning line is without a doubt 100%.
She is very creative (though very less of it was seen in Sales Management classes) and a true Cult Comm material. She is fun to have out with. She is super-duper active and completes work in a ziffy. She is seriously damn quick in getting things done (admire u for that), and I think she is the first one among girls to come out of Bakar exams.
How can I forget this, Your Madar Earth act in Bamboo’s class was hilarious (from the narration I got), even though ur grade was also Bambooed by him .. (Badla lenge apan, chinta nai..) But I still don’t know why but she is also called “Peelu”.
She likes shopping and has a great fashion sense …… Thanks for saving me when the whole wing used to take my case for my over bright clothes.

She’s like a breeze which makes you feel fresh, She’s like a dance move which makes you feel fun, She’s like a sound which makes you feel relaxed, She’s like a friend which makes you feel “Awesome”.
She is “The Bestest Bargainer” (with all Marwari traits) I have ever met. You can sense her presence from a long distance due to her Melodious voice. She is one person who can shout on top of her voice, but can give words of wisdom to any aggrieved soul with equal aplomb. With her around, you have to watch what you say because of her extensive knowledge she has a double meaning for every sentence you utter. She is such a Shopaholic that I hope UB gives her salary broken up every weekend, so that she doesn’t spend everything on shopping the very first day. Payal can dance as well as make others dance to her tunes like “a PEACOCK”. With an infectious smile & great sense of humor she is the secret crush of many hearts at IIM Shillong. The only question I want to ask her is “Why she is always standing only?”. When you are with Payal you can always count on two things, one is getting the job done on time & other is having unlimited fun. Some Miscellaneous things you can associate with Payal are Hair removal (VEET), Pineapple pastries, Caramel Custard, Meaningful poems & mimicking Mandipati. Given the slightest of opportunity she has the ability to pull anyone’s legs and increase the fun quotient around her. Her Kickass attitude and big smile are assets anyone would die for. Like four seasons in a year, Payal has a range of moods & forms, which are fun to watch. At one moment she is all elegance personified yet at the very other she is this dynamic mischievous soul. All in all, a kid at heart but still very practical in dealing with everyone. A tiny winy girl with a Big heart & a sharp tongue. With her around, you can have all the fun and still talk about the most serious things. I can’t imagine my 2 years at IIM Shillong without her; the role she plays in my life can’t be filled with anyone else. Will miss you a lot Peelu..

She can be like a kid, stubborn and engrossed while playing Fruit ninja but the very next moment you can expect some weird ribald comments which can even make guys like me blush. Her energy levels are unmatched; if the subject and the context interest her else she will always be sleepy and bored. One can clearly know in which room or wing she is, only through her unique voice. I personally have woken a lot of times hearing her loud shrieking laughs in the corridor.
To this fun side of hers, there is an extremely talented and hard working girl. I always thought Marketing is Bakar but her and Somjeet’s VEET ppt proved me wrong. It was one of the best marketing PPTs I have seen till now and from then on I could never say that Marketing is all Bakar. Whatever little marketing I know, I owe it to her. She only helped me pass Marketing 2 by messaging all answers to quizzes and briefing the cases before the class or even submitting those stupid one pagers of cases.
Some people are meant for some particular role and she is one of them. She defines cultcomm, an amazing dancer, actor and an extremely creative person. If not people like her I am sure first year wouldn’t have been so wonderful.
Never let the kid inside you fade away, be the way you are and make people around you smile and happy!
Payal is definitely the most bubbly and chirpy girl around... She has this lovely resonating laugh which you could hear any time of the day and in any hostel....People could easily be fooled by her appearance (pretty and petite) but beware!! She could make even guys cringe with her dirty jokes :P She is the best person to have with you when you r down on confidence.. Can lift up anyone's mood and I just love that attitude of yours.. We have pretty similar views on how girls should behave..Hope you remember that small discussion of ours :P Being a fellow cultcommer, a groupie in one of the marketing subjects, I know she is an efficient worker and gives her best shot always!! At the same time she can be an exacting person!! Our sales mgt play, practice sessions, making guys dance, parties or cultcomm meetings/outings wouldn't have been this great widout u :) I am sure you are on your way to becoming a great marketer.. ReplyDeletePayal is one of the most bubbly and chirpy persons on campus… I can never forgive her for those endless comments on me .. but she is a gal whom u can always count on … she may be tiny but has a big heart .. a person who lives life to the fullest .. she talks so much … smiles big .. and laughs even bigger… she always spreads that happiness quotient around … she keeps everyone around her happy… wat I really like about her is her eyes… they speak so much … especially when she has caught u red handed, or when she is up to something mischievous – u shud see the glow on her eyes.. they really glow.. m ready to get caught a million times jus to see that glow payal :)

My dance partner since the past 1 year :). Very active, talkative, smart, sweet and friendly girl. She can just talk, talk and talk for hours narrating various incidents of her life or go on teasing/imitating people and its fun when she is around. She can make the atmosphere quite lively by bringing up some conversation or cracking a joke, which again would be quite difficult to counter with, in case you are the target. :P
ReplyDeleteI share some things in common with her like not being very fond of sweets, chocolate cakes , and liking pineapple pastries, which was quite a relief coz I realised I alone am not so strange in such aspects :P. Really love the way she writes small articles or poems and its really surprising how she does that because it requires her to be or to think like a completely different person.
Very dedicated when it comes to work, be it acads or competitions like VEET case or be it Cult Comm work. I have seen her level of commitment and dedication she puts in for the Cult Comm work , specially last year farewell. And yes, it goes without saying, her ideas and her marketing acumen is also really good. She is going to be a great marketer. I’ll also never forget the way and speed with which she cracked all the clues in Pictionary round in HR event.
Awesome dancer she is, really dances with ease and can recall all the steps very well at one go with minimal practice. It was pleasure dancing with her and will always remember all the dances that we did together. :)

At first glance, Payal is a very DOWN TO EARTH person (literally : P). I guess the fact that she has grown only so much substantiates my first statement :D. She dances like a PEACOCK :P:P. When she hears a joke, she ll give an artificial smile as if she understood coz it takes time for the words to reach her ears. Of course, when someone is DOWN TO EARTH in their height, this dissonance can be forgiven :D:D. Payal looks upto people and she does not mind if people look down upon her coz that’s the only way we can speak to her :P.
ReplyDeleteComing to the more nicer things about payal. True to the English meaning of her name, payal sure does sound like an anklet. Anklets though small in size make a lot of sound and the best part is that people love those sounds. Payal is just like that : SMALL, laughs incessantly but people adore her :) I remember the first time I spoke to her. It was on the day of registration when we were discussing about what all intro courses to take and I was giving my newly acquired gyan to three lovely looking ladies. I still dunno if Payal thanked me sincerely or I was her first victim :P. She has an amazing sense of humour and can take up people’s case with ease. I ve been at the receiving end on some occasions too and the starting few lines of this testi is to get back at you for that :D:D.
I guess she was born to be a cult commer. Be it the amazing dance performances that she has given over the past 2 years or the numerous parties she has organized or the awesome farewell for seniors or the bonfires hosted, Payal has been at the centre of it all. The way u pronounce Mandipati’s name is just hilarious :D:D:D. Although we ve not interacted personally, it was nice knowing you and I ll cherish these moments. Have an awesome and amazing career ahead of you :)

These 20 points by and large describe Payal; she is one of the most outgoing persons in the batch. Payal has an awesome dressing sense and can pull off almost whatever she wears. Someone who has slapped me many times for sleeping in class :-( :P A part of Balu, Bhim and Payal trio of first year. We always used to sit together.
Someone who is really good at painting…can also write poems and articles. My table tennis opponent who has beaten me almost all the times we have played together (I have won handful of matches thou :P). But don’t forget guru kaun tha :P
A shopaholic who is addicted to shopping and largely believes in retail therapy. Someone who started planning about farewell dress a month back as if it’s her wedding :P :P
A fun loving person and it’s always fun when she is around. Someone who is good at taking others case, have been at the receiving end for past two years :-( mera bhi chance aayega :P
Someone with great dancing skills; can perform any dance with elegance & ease. A cultcommer and a great friend who is always there for you and someone who likes to live in her dreamland.
Someone who can lend words of wisdom anytime, and trust me those words have helped me many times over. Payal has a huge fan following (Sakshi and Sana can tell better :P) and has been the gelling factor for many of us in the group.
She is a bundle of energy and widely famous for her double meaning jokes and lewd humour, a girl who doesn’t like chocolates. Who can go on and on with her endless stories.. a kid at heart but obstinate at times.
Have spent a lot of time together, be it walks or endless talks. Will certainly miss you.!

Free advice: As they say never judge a book by its cover, likewise never judge Payal by her height, She can’t certainly kick anyone's a**.
Payal proves the very famous saying of “Great things come in small packages”. One of the most bubbly, charismatic and tiny personalities I have ever met. If she starts talking then toh she can go on talking for one full day without a break. She is the bonding factor in our group and can always be found in our wing only.
ReplyDeleteShe looks small but guys beware she is by no means less than a 6’2” guy, and her jokes can even make even a guy shy, she is also very good at taking others case (though others majorly include Bhim rest all were spared or were busy in taking Bhim’s case only). Payal’s hit ratio of understanding a double meaning line is without a doubt 100%.
She is very creative (though very less of it was seen in Sales Management classes) and a true Cult Comm material. She is fun to have out with. She is super-duper active and completes work in a ziffy. She is seriously damn quick in getting things done (admire u for that), and I think she is the first one among girls to come out of Bakar exams.
How can I forget this, Your Madar Earth act in Bamboo’s class was hilarious (from the narration I got), even though ur grade was also Bambooed by him .. (Badla lenge apan, chinta nai..)
But I still don’t know why but she is also called “Peelu”.
She likes shopping and has a great fashion sense …… Thanks for saving me when the whole wing used to take my case for my over bright clothes.

She is “The Bestest Bargainer” (with all Marwari traits) I have ever met. You can sense her presence from a long distance due to her Melodious voice. She is one person who can shout on top of her voice, but can give words of wisdom to any aggrieved soul with equal aplomb. With her around, you have to watch what you say because of her extensive knowledge she has a double meaning for every sentence you utter. She is such a Shopaholic that I hope UB gives her salary broken up every weekend, so that she doesn’t spend everything on shopping the very first day.
Payal can dance as well as make others dance to her tunes like “a PEACOCK”. With an infectious smile & great sense of humor she is the secret crush of many hearts at IIM Shillong. The only question I want to ask her is “Why she is always standing only?”.
When you are with Payal you can always count on two things, one is getting the job done on time & other is having unlimited fun. Some Miscellaneous things you can associate with Payal are Hair removal (VEET), Pineapple pastries, Caramel Custard, Meaningful poems & mimicking Mandipati. Given the slightest of opportunity she has the ability to pull anyone’s legs and increase the fun quotient around her. Her Kickass attitude and big smile are assets anyone would die for. Like four seasons in a year, Payal has a range of moods & forms, which are fun to watch. At one moment she is all elegance personified yet at the very other she is this dynamic mischievous soul.
All in all, a kid at heart but still very practical in dealing with everyone. A tiny winy girl with a Big heart & a sharp tongue. With her around, you can have all the fun and still talk about the most serious things. I can’t imagine my 2 years at IIM Shillong without her; the role she plays in my life can’t be filled with anyone else. Will miss you a lot Peelu..
