People are simply jealous of his Dudeness but then he is a person who is always there for his friends and connects fast with people. A true ‘bread café’ fan he will never say no to an opportunity for a visit there. A bindass kinda person but then that’s where he derives all his strengths. A photography enthusiast at which he is already an expert, Goel saab is also one of those who are thorough with the whats and what nots of Photoshop and it is because of the classes he took in 1st year that today I know the ABC of Photoshop. Vishal, a really confusing character.. after 2 years i still cannot predict what he will do next.. an excellent photographer.. sorry for the time i made u wait on the roads in bbay.. but i would still say, i a lil walking arnd is good for health...have a great life ahead!!
Though we are from same city but we did not know each other till IIM Shillong happened . Here i had the good luck of living in room opposite to his room in first year and he was also my companion form home town to Shillong journeys .What i like most about him is he knows how to make and nurture friendship.Ever ready to solve your problems and help you.Besides the varied talents he has , his simplicity and down to earth behavior strikes a cord with one and all . and yaa i will remember the guitar and play list too.
I dont need to say that this guy is innovative...you can see it for yourself on Niveshak website..some of the most amazing Niveshak Covers have been his creation...he is a multi-talented person with passion for photography, guitaring, designing and what not...he is also a guy who would take lot of initiatives...and with his passion and creativity, he would surely go places.. Vishal=Versatile. our designer sahab. extremely talented and enterprising. I really admire the way he balances so many activities at the same time. his conduct during footsteps for juniors was amazing and praiseworthy. this guy has it in him to make it very big. Vishal was my wing-mate for a year and has been my group-mate here at IIM-S. Though I wouldn't say he was the most hardworking member in our team, he's a really great guy to know - and I can count him as one of the friends I've made here. Vishal happens to be one of the most energetic guys on campus - he'd forever be doing something or the other all the time! Consequently, laziness is one word that can never be associated with him.
He is quite passionate about photography - and that's probably the only thing for which he readily gets up early in the morning. He likes strumming on his guitar from time to time - I've lost count of how many times he's played "Neele Neele Ambar Mein", which probably is his favourite song. He loves going on treks & visiting various places around Shillong. He's a really fun-loving person who loves some good old-fashioned banter, jokes & humour. He's also completely addicted to FB & his mobile phone - boy does he love sending SMS-s! :)
And by the way, Vishal is also a really helpful person. How can I ever forget him accompanying me during my trips to Nazareth in 1st year, of his own volition, and that too despite the fact that he'd be missing class tests in the process! Thanks a lot buddy for that selfless gesture!!!
The first aspect of Vishal that strikes me is his skills of photography. His other interests of Google Places or blogging also somehow seem tied to that. In fact, it’s the most enduring impression I will have of him - the way simple clicks are made special by adding a blue tint or focussing on one mundane thing while blurring out the rest can make it an object of fascination. Few things that come to my mind when i think of Vishal - FB, Guitar, Niveshak, Photoshop, Speakers :) That sums up the personality he is.
Loves taking initiatives - i remember the numerous meetings he had with the juniors in his room for the PR Committee. He flirts with girls and hardly gets noticed in public - probably the only one who has used Gtlak/FB to talk to everyone on campus :P
He's loves showing off - footsteps week is a proof to that :D

Well he is an artist and not an MBA grad. You can find art in whatever he does. I have learnt a lot from him. Designing Niveshak alongside him he taught me the nuances of Photoshop and InDesign. He has the capability of taking on and finishing any amount of work however loaded he might be. He single handedly designed one of the anniversary issues and the issues during the internship which is really commendable.
He has a great passion for music and it is not surprising to know that he has learnt all of this on his own with help from friends. He is a person who is very easy to approach at all times. I decided to play to guitar first time at IIMS only after he forced me to do so.
Really looking forward to a new chapter to our friendship at our new workplace.
Vishal. The my perennial co-traveller when we did our internships in Mumbai. Starting from going to meet people who wouldn’t come out of South Mumbai area to searching for a location for the Senior-junior meet, we must have spanned the western railway nearly 10 times. Got to know him as a person during those times and realised how much this person truly cares about the people around him is concerned about helping them. He has also shown great responsibility in handling the matters of PR Cell and his constant mails to the batch regarding Synapse are a testament to that. He might not look such but he is a very emotional guy and one of the few people here who really take time to know his surroundings and not just the college, his tales about the escapades in Shillong always make me jealous ( nahh! Am too much of a sloth to go out and do that! ). He is also a great photographer (primarily female and natural beauty :) ) and designer and am serious jealous of these facets! Vishal is the kind of person who likes to remain on his toes; always trying out new things, venturing into newer places and never stagnant. A multifarious personality, he has talent in playing musical instruments, doing photography and mostly expanding the base of his hobbies. The PR face of the college, his people skills are his asset. The guy from Bareilly is a steady friend, always willing to help and extend his company whenever needed. One of the first guy I met in IIM Shillong- Vishal Goel was my wingmate for over a year... Through that- I came to know him quite well... And I have to say- it was amazing knowing him... Few of d best moments of First Year- included singing Sutta or Nile Nile ambar pe wid him playing his Guitar... Vishal is one of those people who is mostly smiling- highly active...
