The blue eyed Investment banker of our batch :) :).. We've known each other even before coming here and have grown to be good friends over the course of these two years…be it the all-nighters that we have spent in Harish's rooms, the last minute scramble for projects and the group studies before exam, the innumerable trips to PB is search of good food ;) :P.. He can make any situation light and is an entertaining character.. Be it his badminton or his fielding.. he is one true sportsman who has a good many fans :P A fellow foodie, a fun loving friend and the 'Hide n Seek' boy :P... Here’s wishing you all the success and happiness in life
G V.. the cutest thing abt you is your smile and obviously the way u talk in hindi.. one of the best things about him you is your sweet nature and honesty.. dont ever change that.. some of the memories that i would truly cherish are the all those days we took the papad guys(u knw who and in what context) case and our mawlynnong trip.. look forward to spending time with u in bbay..
Group J rocks.... I am proud of our bakar that made us first group to make a faculty sleep in class. Lots of memories are linked to working with him at late nights on assignments and presentations . A person who is always enthusiastic in learning something new. A very hard- working and probably a person whom u will desire to be a part of your study group.
Keep the passion in u alive. Hope u do great as an I-Banker Have a great future ahead.
I remember this guy telling me in the 1st Term - 'Macha Tell me which would be my specialisation?' during our long Group talks. I would motivate him to become a marketer but he won't accept. One fine day he says 'I have made up my mind, I have Investment Banking in my blood' and then he becomes a core Fin guy. One of the most fun loving member of our study group (Grp-J) and without his jokes and 'bishesh tippanis' in Hindi would have made our group meets boring as hell. During tense situations, this guy would never lose his temper and remain cool and would take up the initiative of completing any damn work you give him. He is one of the vocal members of our batch and would pull your leg at the slightest of opportunity he gets. But with this kind of fun-loving attitude, he is also a mature guy and can be very serious about academics. The best thing I found in him is his attitude of learning all the languages - atleast the slangs of every language. I still remember his legendary presentation to DK with his Hindi lingo of consumer and customer which made DK go crazy and shower him with all the praises.
I wish him huge success as an I Banker and I know we would find him as one of the richest banker of India. Stay as you are Poda!! Never Change...and keep in touch...
Yo Agent Vinoth... I remember u trying to teach me Tamil... ( few words i still retain.. Can't write) and Our first Krukshetra experiences .. Sulagte Launde... and how me asking u and asking me abt 'Being and not Being Fin aur Mark' and ya Guitar feats ....and some random discussions on Relations ( u might have forgot)where u always emerged the committed guy.... Though i haven't talked to u much in last few months ( or may be u didn't like)but i will still try to disturb u... yo Bye bye :)
South Indian Super Star... after whom all south Indian girls go crazy ;) It is great to be in his entertaining company and converse with him in hindi. I especially remember that conversation about your 'Pyari' :P It still bring smile to my face whenever I recall that. His hindi slangs and expressions are just too awesome. He is also a great sportsman and plays all kinds of sports. I personally love his super sonic bowling :P This guy is all set to make his mark in Mumbai now in Investment Banking and I am sure he would be a star there also. It was great knowing you mate. All the best n Keep in Touch :)
Fin King Vinoth Kumar.. The ladies’ man…A very quick thinker known for his punch lines in English, Hindi and Tamil. Has a knack for sending people into peals of laughter in the most unexpected of situations. This creative genius has so often gone into a mode of thinking that brings out ideas miles different from what we normally come up with. Bombay Bites makes Chicken biryani only because of you :P. He is mamas’ boy.. Almost invariably goes above the 20 Kg airline baggage limit because of 15Kg of Hide & Seek that his parents so lovingly pack for their boy. A very good friend who made 2 years of IIM Shillong enjoyable and fun. Wish you all the best da….
Fellow groupie, both in class and outside, I have had ample opportunity to observe Vinoth on multiple occasions. The qualities that are most evident are the sincere work he puts in and the pause-and-listen after which he airs his views. Without him, the wing wouldn’t gel as much as it does now and there would be no competition for Reddy on the badminton court. I am sure that both these will help him wherever he is in the world, be it Japan or anywhere else. A thoroughly fun loving person, I am sure no one who knows him can recollect his reactions to tickling, his shuddh hindi or his expressions during pole-dancing. His commitment to certain things come what may is as astonishing as the phrases he comes up with during presentations (esp. the Mkting one). All the best for everything in life Vinoth, keep up the dimpled smile :)
Vinoth - the first thing that comes to my mind is the 'hide & seek' that he gets from home very often - he's a mamas' boy completely :) I have had the pleasure of watching him from close quarters for most of the two years in IIM Shillong.
Vinoth can come with some of the best one-liners/punch lines when a video has to be made - he can make people laugh very often because of this. Bombay bites' is still in the business because of very few people and am pretty sure that Vinoth would be on top of that list. The numerous Chicken tikka biryanis that he has got from there is something i would never forget - whenever you wanna go out for food, you would most often find Vinoth and Karthi alongside - this meant we hardly had to go out without company.
Vinoth is very sensitive when it comes to friends - he's very particular about the time he spends with them and i was amazed to see a guy who is very emotional about his friends :)
Vinoth has got various other talents as well - he can play awesome badminton and has amazed me with his court plays, he can dance invariably for anything and the dance with Amrit is something which i will never ever forget ;) I have also had the pleasure of captaining him in one of the tournaments that we won - Vinoth played a big role in it due to his pinch-hitting and his brilliant fielding skills.
Wish you all the very best in life and i'm sure i will see you around :)
we hav managed to be together in quite a number of things... starting from the same NSS unit where i 1st got to know u, obviously we were in the same college, same branch, almost same CGPA, being placed in the same company, staying in the same room for the IIMS interview (we had not even planned anything! met u in d journey and stayed together for next 2 days) and then getting admitted into the same IIM Shillong (after we both being wait-listed) the list doesnt end there... together 2 performances in the talent show and taking the same domain again - finance...
and guys, as far as i remember, he had chicken tikka biryani after the IIMS interview as well :D ur badminton skills giv competition to reddy's and u r d best boundary fielder... ur intelligence, hard working nature and sense of humour always amazes me... i am sure u ll be a very very successful i-banker... wishing u d best in life :)
Vinoth is sensitive and a happy-go-lucky kind of person. I have known him for some of his famous punchlines in the so called "Hindi".- although his efforts are still commendable. The best way to take a revenge on this guy is to tickle him :D. I got his opportunity to work with him for one paper and I was really impressed by his dedication and commitment. He loves clicking himself in different poses and is very smart man- truly the ladies' man. Wishing u great success ahead macha. Keep Smiling Always:)
Vinoth is a very hardworking, intelligent, honest and a modest guy. He was my wing-mate during the first year as well as a team mate in the kurukshetra matches as well as Kopda cup (during 1st yr). He is a great sportsman and plays all of cricket, badminton and TT very well.
I wish Vinoth all the best for his future. Keep in touch :)
Vinoth, my grouppie (group J relied alot on him), a sincere and a hardworking guy. He has great presentation skills and it was his presentation slides which many times captivated the audience of section 2. He is an all rounder in true sense. Apart from studies, he is a very good cricketer and an excellent TT and badminton player. One cannot forget his dance which mesmerizes everyone. His ready to learn (ex. Hindi language) and never give up attitude can take him any height he aspires for. Wish you all the very best in your future endeavour and be a great I-banker... Keep smiling and be in touch :)

Vinoth is the fin guru. He is the kind of guy, whose talent you can just envy. He is very mature for his age, is a clear thinker and knows what he wants. He is a foodie and chicken lover, won’t miss an opportunity at having a sumptuous chicken meal. A badminton and TT star, he is a good sportsperson who can play almost any sport with ease. His Hindi deserves a special mention. For one who has studied Hindi as a second language, his Hindi is hilarious and makes people laugh every time he tries to converse in Hindi. A show-off guy who will run to the front of the frame and give his famous pose, every time camera is focused on him! All the best, Vinoth! I hope you like investment banking as much as you think you do :) and make loads of money! Keep in touch!

Actually never got too close to this guy.. Still don’t know why.. most probably the preset notion as to who I was before :P! But I really admire and envy the bonding with Ragini that he has formed over the 2 years. They are the ONLY original ‘jetties’ :D!!
