  1. Anurag Prasad - Collector Saheb of our class. Fellow group 'H' mate. Admire him for his quality work. A bright guy who has immense talent in him to achieve great things. Passionate about social work and I am sure the nation is awaiting his service. All the best dude!!!!

  2. Well he used to Shamelessly sleep in lectures…but then it might be the eligibility criteria for the ‘collector saab’ he aspires to be. A complete package of intellect and unkempt hair. People call him ‘zero zero nine’ but he is none less than ‘zero zero seven’ :)

  3. Collector sahib, Group H mate, very hard working person and helping person. Still remember OM Project when he tried his best to explain me material handling concept and did not get irritated though I asked him so many times. Thanks a lot. I wish you all the very best in life collector sahib.

  4. The first student (or participant) whom I met even before coming to this campus was (His excellency) Anurag Prasad. From that day itself, he looked to me as a person who has very clear objectives, knows his strengths and limitations and sets expectations accordingly. Over the past one and half year, I have know more about Anurag and my every interaction has taught me something new personally and professionally.
He is the one who used to provided me a relief from this monotonous MBA with his intellectual talk about history, geography, public policies, climate change and politics. Whenever, I have gone to him asking for any help or guidance, I have never returned disappointed.
Anurag also has the credentials of putting me in trouble with his idealist approach (for t-shirts and Diwali celebration). He will amaze you with his knowledge about the things which you may not have even heard of and ignorance of the things which you would expect everyone to know. Deep down, he is a good human being who really wants to do something for the society and as per me has been very less degraded in his morals from the MBA program.
Dude, this country need civil servants like your ideology.

  5. AP..009..DM..Collector...Question Bank...The person whom I used to see everyday irrespective of whether I want to or not :P :P
Destiny had made me his roommate..Yes Yes I know all would sympathize with me for this but I did sustain him for an entire year and had the very guts to take a room beside him again the next year...Well mostly because no one else had the courage to do so :P :P

Jokes apart..Very few people know the kind of friend he is. He cares a lot for people around him. He has the peculiar and very famous way of talking with "BEY" at the end of every statement but I guess it does suit him. I have seen his dedication for Civil Services from the very first week in College. He never stopped talking about his dream of joining the civil services and I am sure he would achieve this feat one day.

He is also super intelligent (another fact which very few people know). I have seen him understand things just be looking at them and remembering stuff from school and engineering days which I never did.

A person who always has to comment on whatever on earth you are discussing with someone. He has to know about all the topics in the world and surprisingly has a unique stand on everything. But the good part is I have always seen him taking his stand even if everyone is against him. He used to argue for hours with Amrit, Anshu over random topics and I would just keep on listening until I myself get into the argument eventually. A typical UPite, he is total desi by heart and hence the right person to become a public servant.

I have seen people ridiculing him a lot for stupid reasons, including his asking doubts in every class (which actually is irritating) but this person has never let anything affect him ever and always remained the cool person he is.
I am sure we have a long way to go ahead together. All the Best !!!

  6. I am really obliged for getting a chance to say a few words about this great person. Despite all the troubles he has around him, he is always willing to lend out a helping hand to you. Passionate about so many things, TT/Cricket/Society/Football/Studies... he always his schedule lined up and packed up with so many diverse things. He is always considerate towards your problem and always willing to offer his contribution in any way possible. He has always been trying to excel in everything he does and I always wonder as to how could someone master so many diverse things. He always reminds me of a famous dialogue from Bunti & Bubbly, There are 2 kinds of people in this world: One who keep doing same thing all through their life and other one is those who do everything in this life only. The latter category is definitely is the one that describes him the best, An Engineer, An MBA, A would-be-soon IAS officer, A good friend and above of all A good Human being.
Hats off to you Collector Sahab....

  7. Kyaa be.. Anurag does not appear to be the one who would stand out given his potential and knowledge, probably his down to earth nature. It never appeared that he could bowl so fast or that he had so much knowledge. His reasoning and logic is unmatchable. His concern for his friends is great. His clarity of what he wants in life is great. One of the few persons who has planned his life so far ahead. I really admire him for that. He may appear lazy by his looks but is very active intellectually.

May God give you the life of your dreams!

  8. One of the most deceiving personality on campus. A good speaker, a humble human being, excellently knowledgeable, good sportsman, all packed in this package together.
009 or now as commonly referred to as Collector Babu has this one feat which is above all the competitions and everything. A very soft spoken person.
He is going to be one of those "dream" politicians who we look forward for actually leading this country. :)

All the best for your life..I know you will do great and make everyone proud! Stay Blessed! :)

  9. It’s said that 1st impression is the last impression.. Not always though… When I had first met Anurag, he seemed to be such an irritating person, always bugging others with unnecessary questions like “kya kar rahe hoooooo??”, “kahan ja rahe hoooooooo??”.. Infact, Anurag is one of those rarest people who have been able to get onto Anshu’s nerves :P.. Thankfully, I got to know him better owing to him being Mayur’s roommate… I haven’t seen a person so hardworking and dedicated to something he had always wanted to do.. You won’t find many people who can study when there is a party going on right under your room with the highest possible decibels of music..But he was one of them… Hope you continue working hard and there is only one thing that I can wish for you,, that you don’t have to join Cognizant at all… And remember,,, do get my PAN card made :) You are my last hope left :P

  10. 009 or collector sahab is one person who I thought I will remember for his never-ending questions, whether it be a simple conversation in Mayur's room or any lecture in class. But, as I started thinking of how I can describe him, i realised that he will probably be more remembered for his innate abiltiy to argue on any subject with Anshu and his commitment towards preparation for the UPSC examination.

Anurag, I'm sure your hard work and perseverence will bring fruit and you shall become a very successful and sincere (non-currupt I hope ;)) IAS officer in the near future.. Wish you all the luck :)

  11. A strong willed, disciplined, smart and sensible person Anurag never fails to amuse you with his knowledge on any topic under the sun.
When hardly any soul in the class is paying attention, one can find him sitting in a corner deeply engrossed in…. u’ve guessed it right IAS prep material. A person who inspires me a lot to follow my dreams and to put one’s heart and soul to attain it!
Mr Zeero Zeero Nine’s logical approach towards situations to think of a practical solution, his superb cricketing skills and his straightforwardness have made many a people his fan.
Stay the same Anurag. Aspire for greater heights and attain them. Good luck ! :)

  12. 009...ZUK ZUK....DM sahab.....or Anurag....this person has multiple name for different reason...some of them still unknown to me...:)...He is a man with clear objectives, one G.F ( though i always doubt on this...lol...and always try to pull his leg) and one aim ....that is to become DM of this country.

we argued a lot and it reaches the climax during this Kopda cup when he was hit for four sixes in one over...:P:P but finally they took away the cup from us....:(:(....I know that he will surely reach his aim of becoming DM of this country but please dont forget ur fellow classmates....:) All the best dude!!

  13. Anurag aka DM aka Zuk Zuk
He is a true scavenger and can reach any place smelling sweets and girls :P (do hi to shauk hai iske)
Jokes apart, he is a very good person from his heart and is always ready to help others to the extent possible for him. I have spent lot of time with him in these 2 years and I am really gonna miss it. He is a great debater and usually a devils advocate in any discussion.
I wish him all the very best for his aspirations to become the real DM and dont forget my business plan after that ;)

  14. DM sahib is one of the funniest characters on campus. he is extremely talented, and entertaining. he often lives in his own world, and only comes out of it when he is hungry. pursuing IAS along with MBA takes guts, and this guy has lots of it.
It was a pleasure knowing you man!!
    Keep Rocking!!

  16. The would be “Sarkari Babu” belongs that set of people who are very sure of what they want in life and work dedicatedly towards their goal. I have seen him working hard for UPSC exams and studying crazy subjects like history, geography, psychology and a lot many more. He is one of the most knowledgeable guys I have met who is always ready to help u. I still remember how he helped Pallvi and me with our first ppt giving us tips on formatting and all… Of course he is always full of questions but again he will give really great tips at times…And also I can’t ever forget his epic discussions with Anshu :P
All the best for your mains….hope to see u in lal batti gaddi soon!!!!!!!!!!!!

  17. "Zeero Zeero Nine"- yes this was his first impression among us.
"Kya hua bey": the frequent use of "bey" after every sentence of him- the 2nd impression of him
"Dedicated and intelligent"- this was the 3rd impression"
"laal baati wala gaadi me Jaane wala future DM"- this was the 4th impression
"Kopda ka Winner"- this was the 5th impression

This man surprises you by his intellect, dedication and knowledge repository. A nice person all in all.

  18. 009 made an impression on me during Footsteps. He was one of the guys who had a point to make on every discussion being held.

People keep making points (in an IIM). But, I’ve found Anurag’s points to be a cut above the rest, always. I guess, he is lucky to be intelligent and blessed to have that clarity of thought.

I am not too worried about his attempts at becoming an IAS officer. Anyway, this is the most I can write about this smart chap, reliably.

    Keep in touch.

  19. extremely intelligent guy ... i still remember hw he was the only one who cud come up wit a solution to the pirates game our group had conducted ... extremely logical .. always thinks sensibly and logically .... a total batch person who always thinks in the interest of the batch .. totally unbiased ... a person perfectly fit to become collector , DM etc etc i sincerely hope he does .. he is a true asset to our college and i want him to be one for the nation as well .. but no matter where u go and who u become .. u will always be 009 for us ..

  20. Anurag’s commitment and dedication towards his work is truly awesome....Intelligent enough to advise you on diverse topics and inquisitive enough to question you on whatever topic you are discussing…. He is always there to help you out … Winner of so many events in first year before he got busy with other bigger task (UPSC) … But ofcourse, he never hesitated to share his knowledge with anyone and his advices had been truly useful for me and deepa in competitions.
Last but not the least, your arguments with Anshu has been very interesting (u know in what sense :P)
Wishing u luck for ur IAS exams:)

  21. He has a very unassuming demeanor and at the same time, he is supremely confident about what he knows. He has a very high level of awareness on a myriad number of topics and conversations with him can never get boring.
Extremely passionate about cricket, he is a great fast bowler as well as an ardent follower of the Indian cricket team. A die-hard fan of Manchester United, I don’t think he’s ever missed watching them in action no matter what time the match is being aired.
He is going to be a great public administrator one day and we’re sure to see his name being splashed all over the newspapers ( for all the right reasons, of course).

    Cheers!

  22. Anurag! It has been very nice knowing you through chats and for the record, your shot at the IAS has been very inspiring. It is hard to find someone who can get out of the rut of capitalism after an MBA at an IIM and I admire you for having the guts and the passion to do something for our country rather than just post angry statuses about the current administration on social networking sites. Thanks for being instrumental in the victory of the Junkyard Dawgs, it was a pleasure to see you on the field giving your best shot always! All the best in all your future endeavours and I hope that you never let go of your dreams come what may!

  23. “009” a.k.a. “DM” a.k.a. “kya hua bey” a.k.a. “scavenger” a.k.a. “rizwan khan”

Wish I could emulate his dedication towards CS. He possesses excellent analytical skills with uncanny approach to have an entire different opinion. As a fellow ConQuest member I would have liked to work with him on more assignments.

On the funnier side he is a person who can catch you off guard with his sudden mischievous movements. Will not hesitate (!#!@#!@#) to share Parle-G with you and if you don’t find Bananas in the mess you can always give him a visit :P

Wish you all the very best for mains result and yeah one request once you make it till the end– Be a good one :)
