‘Rohit’s sister’ was Neha’s first introduction to me. And I am grateful to Rohit that our friendship grew. Neha’s life is her friends. She is the one whom I always find laughing in public no matter what is the occasion. I have teased her the most here in Shillong, and I realized sometimes (or was made to realize), must have hurt her. But she hardly complains about this, and rightly so, considering the mental torture she unleashes upon us through her killer PJs and her desperate attempts to take my case. I often say that her ‘akal’ is inversely proportional to her size, to which I get solid bashing from Maalik, who rightly says that she is still untouched from the cruelties and wickedness of the world. I wish you all the very best for your life ahead and please preserve your childlike innocence always.
The first thing that anyone will notice about this girl is her ever-smiling face. Although it was a bit late that we became friends, but I can proudly say that she is my best friend at IIM Shillong with whom I have shared all my secrets, cried and laughed till our stomach ached, ran to PB for no specific reasons and had all girly talks late till night. Sweet, amicable, cool-tempered, patient and a bindaas girl she is! Never have I seen a person who can tolerate the intolerable leg-pulling to such an extent, that too with no signs of complaints and irritation. The PJ queen of our batch, she can just look at anything and make a joke on that, only if it can be honored as a JOKE!! Jokes apart, a very genuine person with a kind heart and utter selflessness. Thank you so much for being such a great friend and I hope that we continue to be such good friends for the rest of our lives. She’s one person who laughs at the most ordinary jokes. But then again, it’s hard to ever spot her without a smile on her face! A person who likes to remain happy, open new case files, gossip and come up with PJ’s bad enough to kill someone, it is the child inside her which she has managed to preserve that makes her the person she is. I first met her at Bombay Bites but it was our second meeting when she told "Rohit!! you are my cousin brother" which gave new dimension to our relationship. Since then she became my prime target like every sister would be for her brother of similar age. I would pull her leg to which she always replied through her innocent smile or her favourite dialogue "bahot gande ho". But one thing I should admit, she is a girl who knows how to hide her emotions, smile in every situation and notice even the slightest change in her dear ones' behavior. As rightly said by Rishi, she is still untouched from the evilness of this cruel world and this is what that distinguishes her from any other girl. “Mere naaa 12th me HINDI me 95 marks aaye the”….”Roorkee gaon nahn hai”…”PAPITA ma’am bahuuuuut achhi hain”….”Main ROHIT ki behan hun”….these are the famous one liners from a fabulous PJ Queen popularly known as “NEHA GARG”. An Electrical Engineer from VNIT (Very less like NIT) Nagpur, trying to figure out reasons behind complex theories like why there are ONLY 3 blades in a ceiling fan, what can be the best way to confuse a person and many more….But yaa, apart from this, Rohit and Kaustubh ki Behan is a great human being at heart and a nice friend…I know I have teased her a lot (& probably have hurt her also), but she never complains. I always wonder from where she gets this patience.

I got to know Neha well during the later Half of First year- amidst all worries of Internships.... After that- with knowing her really well in Second year in most of Marketing Electives- Be it working with her in Distribution or putting crazy plays in Sales Management, I feel I have got to know her quite well.... The first thing you notice about Neha is- She will always have a smile on her face.... Always cheerful, her sense of Humour can rival Kaustoobh on Good days... ;) But the best thing is- the confidence she has is amazing.... I have participated in number of competitions- and I really mean a lot- with her- and one thing I saw was she always believed of our chances... One of her better qualities was- she was just like Average IIM students like me about trying to get best in last few days- but when she really wanted something, her efforts had always spectacular... A Great Friend, and a Better person- I enjoyed her company a lot...
One think I can never forget about her are the “golas “ that we used to have in Gurgaon. I have really enjoyed each and every moment spent with her including her PJs :P. She always has this cute little smile on her face. A big Twilight fan….wish u all the best in life!!!!!
Neha Garg: This girl sometimes makes me run for my life or even makes me feel giddy and nauseatic through her venomnous Jokes. I could not believe my ears that while appeared in one of the job interviews she told them a really nice joke that Emami company is like a relative of hers: Emami= electronic maami. She is very sensitive and times just absorbs anything bad that anyone would say to her and doesnt retaliates back. She has still retained her childhood in her mind and behaves exactly like one which her other colleagues mistake her for her haughtiness. She loves roaming around places and hanging out with her friends, especially with Opporna Das who seems like more of a distant cousin to her. I dont know why after getting admitted into an IIM she developed so much animosity with the books and lessons. She believes in enjoying every bit of time she has got to spend with her friends, be it the classroom or the hostel. The level of innocence she has got would make even a 4 year old develop inferiority complex against her. I never saw her in these 2 years hurting anyone, intentionally but at times there are misconceptions and she gets crucified for something she didnt intend to. Neha also speeding on bike and I am the best one to approve this fact. :) She is both an Electrical and Electronics engineer and her knowledge in either of the two fields is immense and vast ( no pun intended, I understand its hard to master even one field and you were burdened with two). She is so passionate about her roots that most of the time she would end up praising her hometown and the local university ( to which she doesnt have any remotest of the connections though). She can always be entrusted with any of secrets and I can again vouch for this quality of hers. She can talk volumes about any person she is friends with and treats all her friends as if they were his own family members; something that is too unusual and hurting at times. She is a real buddy and very caring for all her buddies. A really magnificent lady with a golden heart. :)
Neha, a girl that believes in relationships. She has a great understanding of values and respects them in her own style. The only girl of her group, she has demonstrated her leadership skills. She is soft-spoken but carries a lot of weight in her speech. It was a fun working with her in one of the courses of marketing. Always smiling yet always worried. Yes this girl always cover her worries with her smiles which definitely works for her too. She is a kind of immature girl who never use brains to think- just because she has a beautiful heart to make decisions. Again a kind of over-passionate towards any ideas that clicks in her mind or any work she has to do. She takes all of them too much seriously. Neha… my neighbour in these two years… sweet, bubbly, jovial and cheerful… and most importantly the PJ queen… she has impressed us time and again with her innovative PJs… you can find them on gtalk and facebook too sometimes..!! She just loves sweets… and though she’s been trying to control a bit on chocolates… hmm… par resist nahi hota na :P :) Our favourite pastime is chitchatting with all the wingies in the corridors on random things… Got to know her better in Gurgaon during the internship time… loves roaming around and spending time with friends... cannot stay idle at all :) and the sweet friend that she is, she’s really helpful in times of need. She’s really innovative and creative with her ideas and is a perfect fit for a marketing job! You’re sure to reach great heights in the field of marketing… All the best Neha! :)

When I first met Neha, I got a perception of her as a studious and serious girl. However my interaction with her proved this to be wrong and entirely opposite. She is extremely talented and innovative and a better fit as a marketing professional. It is her (in)famous PJs which i will never forget. Always, Kaustubh and Neha (self-proclaimed Pj siblings) compete with each other in cracking a "better" PJ and most of the time Neha wins the game. Anyways ultimate fact is that she takes pride in her jokes, which brings the fun part. Fun episodes of Rishi (Jhaad) teasing Neha and Neha sometimes provoking Rishi to tease her back, all will be always there in my mind. Anyhow, her jokes and nice conversations always brought charm to the otherwise dull studious competitive environment. She remains cool most of the time and enjoy listening to songs and watching movies, taking less tension of studies (though she is very serious too, at times). She is always there for others in case of a help. I wish you all the best Neha and may you be blessed with happiness throughout your life.
A jolly girl, child at heart she is extremely caring and compassionate, always has an ear-to-ear smile. Her trait of understanding people’s different moods and ability to lift their spirits is rare to find in people. Since she is my neighbor I cannot help but marvel at the fact that she manages to wake up early EVERY SINGLE DAY! Her room is a treasure trove of food and chocolates into which anyone can barge into and ask for a share of their own. She undoubtedly maintains one of the cleanest rooms in our wing (only Appy can give tough fight to u in this matter). She has many competitions wins to her credit, doesn’t quite love attending classes but ensures she stays up-to-date with the most happening things in the field of Marketing. She might have seen Twilight close to a hundred times and “Oye Oye Oaa Oaa” is the song which will be perennially on her lips. Wish you lots of luck Neha.
