ANIL KUMAR JAGIRDAR

28 comments:

  1. An intellectual guy who is by far the QT King of our class. Fun loving and boozes out often. The most eligible son-in-law. A great character who is passionate about entrepreneurship and I am sure he has the fire in him which can take him to higher altitudes.

  2. The early impressions of Anil were that of a intelligent and sincere student, who was into E-Cell and B Plan competitions. It is only recently that I have seen the fun loving side of this guy; from bribing us to take him in the Kopda team, to watching 3 back to back movies to going out to eat at the drop of a hat- Anil is indeed a pleasure to converse with. It was fun working for TBLA (though we hardly did any of the work), and the last couple of months have been real fun! The only regret is that I didn’t get to know you better earlier! :)

All the best dude! Am sure you will scale great heights in life :)

  3. Group D rocks :) We might not be the best but then we choose different forums to show our true potential!! He loves QT so much that he added some of it to CSR final presentation (naturally I couldn’t understand more than that). He is a very innovative thinker and is at its peak under the influence of ethanol. Make sure the entrepreneurial spirit last forever!!

  4. Anil Jagirdar - The Entrepreneur, The Ultra-Intelligent guy you would find at IIM-S. As once proclaimed by this very man, 'There are the Tatas,Birlas & Ambanis, then is the Jagirdar', this guy is an entrepreneur by heart and can be so creative and innovative which would dazzle you. I knew this guy from the first month of our PGP when he went to represent IIM-S at the ET-Power of Ideas and he automatically gained all the respect from the entire batch. Anil whose life is always on high both due to achievements and due to some artificial stuffs (read booze) has known to live his life king size. A very simple guy and is very genuine by heart and can take academics very seriously. People get surprised with his grasping power and the very relation of putting hours of work and getting decent CGPA has always been defied by this guy.

Anil has been a very close friend of mine and I can say he is a man who is a friend for life. He is passionate at heart for many things-B-plans one of them and he can bring out a huge yardstick on which sincerity & dedication can be measured. Anil is that kind of guy who sticks to his own timetable and follows to keep his life full of fun, knowledge and party. A party animal, he can be a huge 'Tanker' when it comes to boozing. He can be a very emotional person, especially when it comes to the topic on opposite sex [:)].

Anil is a leader by heart and I know he would achieve huge success in his future. He can be a person who can evaluate you and bring an immense improvement in you which just shows how humane a leader is present in him. I can say that I have been fortunate to have got Anil as one of my best friend. I wish him all the best for his future and I pray to God he starts a venture ASAP and recruit me in it[:)].

A fun loving guy who admits and talks about his secret crush after 5 pegs of alcohol.Always ready for any kind of adventure and enlivens the ambiance with his accented hindi :)

  6. Jaggu : Why so serious ?
He seems to take everything so seriously, be it studies, be it assignments, be it girls (errr..., please dont mind it). I had the great pleasure of working alongside Jaggu not only during the group tasks but also during the internship period. He would never settle for anything less and always finish his tasks much before time and utilize the remaining time in checking the profile of beauties. Definitely, he never wastes his time.
Girls not only from various parts of India but from Ukraine and other parts of Europe seem to drool all over him. But he seems to be above all these material pleasures and doesnt give a damn about any such thing and remains busy with his own work. Really dedicated towards the cause of Women welfare. Jaggu is also a party animal but always takes any conscious decision only after diligently checking his schedule: no assignment is pending , no friend request from his female fans is pending on FB, none of his friends (females especially) need his help for the next 2 hours. May God wish you success in fulfilment of your mission !!

  7. The backbone of Group D. Believes in doing assignments one week prior to the submissions. Extremely sincere. But he'll always show he's not. :P Super intelligent. Awesome with QT! First bencher ALWAYS! One of the "very few" whose name is known to all the profs here. Dedicated enterpreneur. Has a B Plan ready all the time.

  8. His demeanor often betrays the extreme sincerity he has towards his work. He never says no to going out for a dinner or for watching a movie for that matter.

This is one guy with the spirit to build a highly successful venture all on his own. I am sure he's gonna outperform in all the work he undertakes.

We've had innumerous discussions about everything under the sun , while travelling to and from hyderabad. He's one guy you can never hold down.

Wishing you lots of success ahead.

    Cheers

  9. What Dude?

Once there were Birlas, then Tatas, and now there will be Jagirdars…Hail Jagirdars!!!

Highly intelligent but at the same time one among the laziest of all. Sometimes his 10 minutes will mean at least a day :P. On a serious note enjoyed working with you and will definitely not farget how to prepare a CF statement once you know how much profit you want :P

Wish you all the best for your future!

  10. Has numerous B plan wins to his name (rather a serial B-plan winner :P), loves to chat to profs (plz don’t kill me for this), awesome with QT and bowls a googly to the profs every now and then with his doubts.
Witty, loves to play TT, first bencher (:P), regular at work and a person who loves going out often. At times his seemingly sincere looks deceive you into believing whatever he says is true when actually it might not be.
Hope your skills take you higher up in the life!

  12. Anil is talent. he is very sharp and hardworking. get in touch with him if you need ideas on developing a business plan. This guy can excel in whatever he does.
He is very helpful and fun-loving. health-care is his domain, but with all the drinking and smoking I wonder how much care does he take of his own health.
Take care dude!! You have a long way to go!!
    Keep rocking!!!

  13. I always knew you as my roomie's best friend. But I'm sorry to say that now I can link you to nothing but RISE. How huge a fan the prof had become of yours :P

  16. AKJ – One of the most fun loving guys’ u can ever hope to find. He just can’t have a quiet evening. Something needs to be happening. He is a very dynamic and ambitious guy, who is very vocal about his ambitions. When he wants something, he has to get it. Period. That is the attitude of this guy. Everyone knows about ‘Tatas, birlas and then the Jagirdars…’ :) A very intelligent guy who is also very street smart, which I feel is a very rare combination. People who can sit and derive equations can seldom go on to the street and get things done doing what it takes. He can do both excellently. He can get an ‘A+’ grade just by studying or just by being the teacher’s pet and most often he chooses to do both :) He can become friends with anybody he chooses to just like that. One of the most outgoing people I have ever known. Yet, there is a part of him which always looks for very close and intimate friendships. I had known two kinds of people before, those who have 100’s of friends and those who have a really small circle of very close friends. Jaggu is kind of both.

I met this guy the first day I landed in campus, spent most of the ‘hell week or in other words footsteps’ together and by then itself we had become the best of friends. In the very first fortnight he got me into ET-power of ideas and I owe a lot of my CV points and grades to him. He has helped me through most of the quant subjects here. It becomes too difficult to write down briefly about someone about whom you literally know everything. That is my problem here. For lack of space and time, I shall stop here.

I am sure that someday in the not too distant future, this guy will accomplish something big, for I can still see that fire in his belly. At the fag-end of our stay in IIMS, when so many of us are laid back and whiling our time, he has finished writing a book. Yes, you heard it right, writing a book. All the best and I am sure you will succeed at whatever you try!

  17. When the word JAGIRDAR comes to your mind you can think of only 3 things- Sutta, booze and Entrepreneurship. A man with several Business Plans and girls :D. A great party animal and fellow E-Cell Member. Working with him in E-Cell was fun. A person with beautiful thought process which is reflected in his work and his "excuses" :D.

Wish u a great future ahead mate. Keep SMiling always :)

  18. Mr. JAGIRDAR.. I am really really sorry that for me you had to leave the room in the first year.( I can never forgive myself for that..Ha ha ha). My wing mates scold me for that. This fellow works so fast man, any assignment you give him and he will be done with it in the same day. Loves QT and specially SPSS. I worked with this guy during SunTzu challenge and invariably he would like to wrap up things quickly. But i have learnt a lot from him. Hardworking, sincere, dedicated, confident and also very emotional.

I seriously dont know why girls like him so much..(Oh hello..that was just for fun...please dont be so happy..Idiot..), of course stories of Mr Jagirdar's love for girls ( One sided..:P:P) will always be memorable.

I still feel you should have opted out of placements as I strongly feel you will be an entrepreneur very soon..

All the best and keep in touch..!!

  20. Anil Kumar Jagirdar – fun loving, party freak… the future entrepreneur!! Dedicated first bencher, and a favourite of all Profs (He’s been invited for dinner with Profs many times too ;)) He’s a perfect entertainer!! with numerous stories of all he has done with his so-called gang of friends in Hyd… and so many of his one-sided love stories… One guy whose day isn’t complete without pulling someone’s leg, and I have been a victim a lot of times… He’s won numerous B-plan competitions and has the capability to make it big one day! Good luck Anil… and keep entertaining people always :P

A tip from personal experience (lots of times) – never ever believe what he says… 90% of the times, he would just be joking / pulling your leg… Hundred times he has promised on me that he will stop smoking / drinking etc. which is never going to happen obviously… and now I just fear the span of my existence on this planet! :P

  21. My first memory of Anil is at the Chennai meet with seniors is that he showed up sloshed and sat at a corner. After that was the footsteps finale where we sat together amused by the reactions of a few of our classmates. So it came as quite a shock when he was absolutely serious and passionate during the e-cell selections. But since then, he has impressed quite a few of us with the enthusiasm he brings to entrepreneurship/consulting discussions.

I really enjoyed the time we spent together in Gurgaon, especially at the mango juice shop and the Delhi trip with Saket. That and of course, the time I freaked you and Saba out talking about mythology. But seriously, “dude”, all the fun apart, you are really a very ambitious guy and here’s raising a toast (pun intended), wishing you all the best for your future!

  22. The first time I met Anil was during the Chennai meet. I thought he was the silent guy who was from “Happy Days” college in AP. But I could not have been more wrong. He has an amazing knowledge about the liquor brands and remains STEADY in spite of having numerous pegs : D : D. He is the best entrepreneur I ve even met and I’m sure his business ideas would be the talk of the world in a few years down the line. The best memory of him would be him fielding during Kopda match where he kept his hands inside the pocket and was searching for the ball up in the trees when it had already fallen and was in the bowlers hands :D:D ROFL material. I would have loved to see the chemistry between him and Prof Chabbra but sadly I had to be content hearing about them :P Awesome Anil  Keep rocking. We ll ve a gala time in Chennai . Stay in touch dude .

  23. One of the most awesome guys I have met here and a Group D mate. The first impression of this guy was that he was very brainy. But after few Group meetings I i understood what a huge tharki he was. The guy works very hard on each and every thing may it be acads or girls.

I was amazed by his commitment to Group D. It was nice knowing you Jaggu and I hope to be your friend for life.

  24. Anil is an extremely talented guy - I now wonder if all telugu guys are brilliant (Yashwanth, Sawan, Jitesh, Madhav and Rahul Sehgal) :P He is the only player to have been retained by a Kopda franchise - it's a tribute to the faithful dawg that he is :D

Anil has saved a lot of us in Section-A thanks to his non-stop DPs. He and Vani would be the only souls who would come prepared for any class and would save the rest of us by engaging the faculty in intellectual discussions for the entire class :D The fact that he has saved us from Joshi, Chabbra and even Tapas Giri deserves a huge salute _/\_

Wish you have a great life ahead and see you around in Chennai :)

      Tatas, Birlas and Jagirdars...:)

  25. Anil is the B-Plan expert of our batch. The rate at which he churns out B-Plans, he should build an assembly line for them and then sell that for a few million dollars, and then plan his next plan while he's enjoying a vacation at the Bahamas :)

Anil is one of the most decent guys in our batch, and a really friendly fellow too. While we all try to occupy seats as far from the faculty as possible, Anil sits right in the front row in front of the faculty's face. That clearly shows that he's really sincere as a student. And he's a really intelligent guy too.

Ah yes, lest I forget, Anil sure loves his drinks - doesn't matter which liquor it is or what the occasion is. In fact, he drinks on two kinds of situations - when he's with friends, and when he's not (that's a tautology by the way :P). I've shared innumerable drinks & smokes with this ambitious yet unassuming guy from Hyderabad, and its been really great knowing him.
