The official DUDE of our batch…he is the most versatile person I have known. He plays wonderful TT except when he starts off on his defensive style. And how could I forget the SITCOM’s he is addicted to..I am sure he will start revising them once he exhausts his stock. Mishraji is one talkative guy of the batch. Inhe logo k saath pange lene mein maze aate hain. Pure non - veg bhakt hain yeh aur isiliye inke saath bahar khaana khaane sirf monday ko jaya jaaye. Yeh kabhi bhi Partha aur Raghu k alawa kisi aur k saath TT nahi khelte.. inki shaan k khilaaf hai woh. Inhe abhi tak "shock" hai ki inhone "Business Law" mein Xingg bhai aur mera paper mila kar copy kiya aur fir bhi mere aur Xxing bhai k number inse kahin jyada kaise hain!? Yeh "dicussions" mein shaamil hona pasand karte hain aur apna bharpoor gyaan baant te hain. Class mein inka bolna jaroori hota hai :)
Doosre nazariye se dekhe to yeh ek khushmizaaz chicken loving praani hain. Dosto k liye hamesha haazir aur khaane k liye agar bahar chalna ho to kya hi kehna.

Sunil comes across as one of the most confident guys in the batch and this gets reflected in almost everything he does. A quality only few possess. Very knowledgeable and well read about most of the things, he is one of my closest buddies here. One of those persons in whose room you will always find something to eat and drink. Would like to take this opportunity to thank you for those countless times you have fed me when i was hungry at night. Means a lot.

A fellow group N mate (calls himself the pillar of the group) who has become one of my good friend… this guy can work his ass off if he wants to but is as lazy as sloth… a true chicken aficionado who can never stop taking a dig at vegetarians.. he is a very passionate person who is full of energy and can bakkar on any and every topic under the sun… this guy goes outta of his way to help you.. an animated and spirited guy who has helped maintain the balance in the group.. have a rocking future Mishraji :) :)
Mishraji... A person who is well aware about whats going around in world and someone with whom u can have a discussion on any topic. Someone who is sporty in taking up jokes and passing apt comments at times.
Dude as he is best known as, Sunil is one of the most jolly guys on campus. He can be friends with anyone and can have a healthy discussion with anyone at any time of the day or majorly nights. Definitely not a follower of IST, his day would start at 2pm in the afternoon and he would lead to the mess to have his food with his '3' pretty friends. Mishra, as the girls call him is very dear to many girls of our batch and his way of communicating things nicely peppered with many niceties really would make him a successful people manager. As a person, he is a very genuine person and you can have a frank interaction with him, even he providing you with all the negatives you have. He has a nice way of analysing and observing people and he really helps people in improving themselves.
A movie/series addict, he would stay awake till late night, when i usually go to his room for the late night food sessions and then would start our Odia bakar sessions which would end with the witness of the sunrise. During tensed situations, this guy would help you remain calm and would motivate with loads of emotional steroids. He is also a big lover of Non-Veg and we would go and explore new places in Shillong when we are really frustrated with anything. We complain a lot about everything and we are very vocal in letting out our views. I am really happy to have a friend like Dude and I can accept the fact that I can exceed a bit in making fun of Dude but he would always take it in the right spirit. He can lose his temper and would blurt out some Odia slangs which me & Padhi love to listen to especially when he has friendly banters with Sourav Das.
A passionate IT guy who loves Marketing also. His knowledge in IT is amazing and he has truly taken responsibility of taking the Systems club of IIMS to a new high. He is also a very emotional guy and when it comes to something in relation to his hometown, he can communicate with all the passion and craziness which would make faculties intimidated. A lover of loud music, he has one of the most powerful woofers on campus and he is known for lending his music box.
I know we will always be in touch and would remain friends for life. He is such a person whom I see as my younger brother and I would wish him he gets the best in life and a splendid career ahead. Dude You truly Rock!! (Wish i could have been charming like you!)

First day i met him at the mobile registration counter ... sry.. from that day on wards i kept irritating u ( and yeah i'll continue to do that :P)...if he likes someone he will be ready to do anything for them... likes non-veg a lot... gets excited very easily ... all the best Sunil!!
Sunil Mishra is probably one of the coolest guys I have met in the campus. One of the guys whom I love talking to because of his simplicity, caring nature. Every time I go to his room he will be seen with a packet of chips and cold drinks and thanks for feeding me so many times in the middle of the night..Every time we'll ask him about girls, he will say "Listen I have left all that since my engineering n blah blah..." ( I like the Oriya version of this :P:P) . He is one of my dearest ORIYA mates who you can trust. A foodie too.. I have a lot of respect for this guy...
Sunil Mishra - my awesome roommate. Getting to be your roommate was among the best things that happened to me on campus :) I enjoyed the numerous chats we had in our room about almost everything that happened on campus. Mishra is a sensible guy and the best part about him is that he understands people so well. I can easily claim that Mishra is probably the only person who knows me inside out in IIM Shillong :) He has always been my go-to man here and he will do things which most or all other friends would not do for you.
Mishra is quite popular with the girls - he doesn't flirt but still has a big female fanbase. He runs a parallel mess in his room most times - I have seen everyone come to our room to get food and rarely have people left our room without food, thanks to Mishra. We have done a lot of leg-pulling together (especially on our dear Group O :D) and on each other as well (something which continues till date !!!)
One lasting memory that will always remain with me is the way he conducted Kopda auctions last year - it was brilliant to say the least. Mishra is the best bowler in our batch and i love the way he sledges opponents :) It was a pleasure captaining a side that had you in it and winning finally :)
Mishra has all the makings of a great leader - he can be aggressive when he wants (remember many of his cricket matches), he can lead teams (like he did with the IT club), he understands the pulse of people (which is the best trait in a leader).

Mishra is a bundle of energy and everything he does demonstrates this energy of his...a person who is genuinely concerned for others and he always wants the whole batch to do something together and is very happy and excited when such things do happen.
A look at his life style is testimony to the influence of western culture through various movies and series he keeps watching...if ever you feel hungry at night, his room is the first choice and he is one of the few people who has never criticized the mess food. He is one of the best speakers of the batch and will never forget the ‘Kopda’ auction which you conducted...Keep smiling :)

He has always been there for me no matter I am doing wrong or right. I am so lucky that even after college I have Sunil to trust on. I will keep on irritating him even after IIM Shillong. The first thing that comes to my mind when I think of Mishra is FOOTSTEPS. After the first round of scolding’s given to us by seniors, we were left to ourselves. People were giving random suggestions. I got up to give mine. I still remember this guy asking me “ Are you a fresher?”. I replied negative. This guy told me with supreme confidence “Only experienced people can handle this situation. Freshers can’t handle it so on and so forth “and asked me to sit down :D:D:D. I though this guy was having HEAVY work experience and found it wise not to argue with old people :D:D. I was amazed to know he was a fresher. Jokes apart, Sunil, don worry dude bald guys are considered to be very sexy :D:D:P. Sunil is one of the few guys who can get along well with Adi. I got introduced to him through Adi as the guy who used to fall asleep with his laptop precariously balanced on his body, headphones on while watching a sitcom. The lost and found mail was hilarious to say the least. A chicken freak, he has a huge stock of food in his room always. Always entertaining, he’s one of the best tt players. Even at 4 in the morning, you can see Partha and sunil play. Very very defensive :D . An even excellent bowler who was crucial in us winning the Incredible Premier League. Sunil is very expressive. Jab mein inhe kum janta tha .. to mujhe lagta tha ye thode pagal se hai....lekin ab jab inhe thoda zyada janta hoon.. to i find him toooo level headed...awesome in understanding minute things..But ya pagal to thode abhi bhi hai... :) Well when i think of a friend ..suddenly ur picture pops up ( obviously without hair )and I sometimes feel he is on this earth just to help people. Seriously, one of the very few people who was actually close to me in this place. Could read me well by the time we had entered 2nd year.
Unfortunately for him, we have worked together for nearly throughout the 2 years :P .. My memory of this fellow would be the way he used to swear at me for being a workaholic as I smiled back and talked about work as soon as he stopped :P!
Most importantly, he was part of 2 of my biggest passions in this place, TT and bITeSys. Actually having these to occupy me along with sunil kept me running even in the lowest of my days.. His enthusiasm about everything in general and these 2 in particular, is something that has shaped my life here!
I am one big jackass who probably would lose touch, if left alone :P. So, please make sure that you call often and stay in touch. Thanks in advance :P

The dude – Sunil. He is a foodie, TT champ, bakar champ and much more. In all, he is great fun to be with. He can lighten any room with his conversation and his exaggeration skills are pretty awesome. Mishra ji – the most brainy person of our batch, quite literally. I was shocked the day I got to know he was a fresher and even more shocked when I got to know he was in my study group.
Mishra; hamare study group ka bonding factor hai. He has rescued our group many a times, done so many random bakar ppt’s for our group with the CSR ppt being the latest one, in which two from our group were even absent. O Group ka ‘Jaani Dusman’ and has never missed even a single chance to take a dig at them. He is the one who has been beaten by Ramya most often. He had the special talent of sleeping in the class and then suddenly getting up and answering a question (I still have your video).
A paka non vegetarian with Monday being the only saving grace for the chickens. Just love going out with him on Monday and teasing him while having chicken (his reply always would be Jitna tu ek month mein khayega utna main ek din mein kha lunga).
Mishra might seem like a crazy guy to many but he is one of the most level headed guys of our batch. When in problem you can always contact him and he will always go out of his way to help you. A fun loving guy who enjoys with friends but at the same time he is very very sincere when it comes to work. Mishra ji bhi Kopda Cup organizing team mein the but cheating ki auctions ke time pe .. Within seconds the bid was closed and Mishra was sold to Sana’s team !! (1-2-3 sold… Sunil Mishra sold to Sana…’s team)
He is a great person to hang around with, a big foodie and a super excited person. The best thing about Mishra is he is a completely straight forward person who is either with you or against you; but would never be diplomatic. Keep rocking dude.. May you get what all you desire in life !!

ReplyDeleteBut probably what I admire most about Mishra is his down-to-earth nature and humility. And if there's a quality Mishra likes about you, you can be certain he'll broadcast it for free around hostels and batches! Whether it's his love for Adi or respect for Salllllllillll, we've heard so much about it. And multiple times at that!
There's no bidding farewell to you, not now at least. I hope that these guys post us in Pantnagar together, so I can continue to find ways to scandalize you (Uff, your moral sensibilities!). But but but, I promise to refrain from 'dishonoring' you on facebook if you give up your 'conservative boy from a small town' behaviour, and cooperate in Mumbai in June. You know what i'm talking about. Pretty please?
First day i met him at the mobile registration counter ... sry.. from that day on wards i kept irritating u ( and yeah i'll continue to do that :P)...if he likes someone he will be ready to do anything for them... likes non-veg a lot... gets excited very easily ... all the best Sunil!!
ReplyDeleteSunil Mishra is probably one of the coolest guys I have met in the campus. One of the guys whom I love talking to because of his simplicity, caring nature. Every time I go to his room he will be seen with a packet of chips and cold drinks and thanks for feeding me so many times in the middle of the night..Every time we'll ask him about girls, he will say "Listen I have left all that since my engineering n blah blah..." ( I like the Oriya version of this :P:P) . He is one of my dearest ORIYA mates who you can trust. A foodie too.. I have a lot of respect for this guy...

Sunil Mishra - my awesome roommate. Getting to be your roommate was among the best things that happened to me on campus :) I enjoyed the numerous chats we had in our room about almost everything that happened on campus. Mishra is a sensible guy and the best part about him is that he understands people so well. I can easily claim that Mishra is probably the only person who knows me inside out in IIM Shillong :) He has always been my go-to man here and he will do things which most or all other friends would not do for you.
ReplyDeleteMishra is quite popular with the girls - he doesn't flirt but still has a big female fanbase. He runs a parallel mess in his room most times - I have seen everyone come to our room to get food and rarely have people left our room without food, thanks to Mishra. We have done a lot of leg-pulling together (especially on our dear Group O :D) and on each other as well (something which continues till date !!!)
One lasting memory that will always remain with me is the way he conducted Kopda auctions last year - it was brilliant to say the least. Mishra is the best bowler in our batch and i love the way he sledges opponents :) It was a pleasure captaining a side that had you in it and winning finally :)
Mishra has all the makings of a great leader - he can be aggressive when he wants (remember many of his cricket matches), he can lead teams (like he did with the IT club), he understands the pulse of people (which is the best trait in a leader).
Long live our friendship and i wish you get everything you want in life :)

dude........my old friend and wing neighbour for both the years...The most admirable thing about mishraji is his no care attitude.His passion for movies,sitcoms and TT is simply amazing.One of the rare guys who can impress any kind of girl.A big foodie and i am grateful to him for never having said no to me when invited to go out for food.One of my TT gurus beside Amrit :)dude can prove to be a constant source of inspiration for any depressed soul.His mannerisms his explanations and his talks about the big network of friends that he has will really cheer u up.Many may not know this fact but dude is a great cook as well.The delicious maggi that he prepares from time to time will be cherished many all who have tried it.Not only that but if its anyone who will certify the taste of food that girls prepare in hostel now and then its none other than sunil.

Mishraji is the "dude" of the batch and that too literally. He is most the coolest kind of person but if his wrong feelings and emotions are tampered with, you better be cautious. An amazing TT player, a perfect person for Marketing because of all those bakar he can deliver. He might look older by his appearance but his way more younger than loads of people here. ReplyDeleteA look at his life style is testimony to the influence of western culture through various movies and series he keeps watching...if ever you feel hungry at night, his room is the first choice and he is one of the few people who has never criticized the mess food. He is one of the best speakers of the batch and will never forget the ‘Kopda’ auction which you conducted...Keep smiling :)
Dude as he is known by all ia a charming person. Very good TT player. When he is in mood, he can blast you off in any argument. My neighbour in first year and his room used to be the night kitchen for most of the times :)

He has always been there for me no matter I am doing wrong or right. I am so lucky that even after college I have Sunil to trust on. I will keep on irritating him even after IIM Shillong. I love to pull his cheek as he is so cute. He is one of those person who knows bad side of Nagar :P
ReplyDeleteHe lives like a dude. You can always find him in his room eating junk and watching serials. And if ask him to suggest any movie he will say “Nagar how can u not see THIS movie” Numerous times I have finished his food stuff even without telling him.
His confident is something which can be seen in any of his presentation. Very well informed and he takes interest in everything. I have done few competitions with him and every time the major chuck of the work was done by him. I have learnt a lot from you dear.

The first thing that comes to my mind when I think of Mishra is FOOTSTEPS. After the first round of scolding’s given to us by seniors, we were left to ourselves. People were giving random suggestions. I got up to give mine. I still remember this guy asking me “ Are you a fresher?”. I replied negative. This guy told me with supreme confidence “Only experienced people can handle this situation. Freshers can’t handle it so on and so forth “and asked me to sit down :D:D:D. I though this guy was having HEAVY work experience and found it wise not to argue with old people :D:D. I was amazed to know he was a fresher. Jokes apart, Sunil, don worry dude bald guys are considered to be very sexy :D:D:P. Sunil is one of the few guys who can get along well with Adi. I got introduced to him through Adi as the guy who used to fall asleep with his laptop precariously balanced on his body, headphones on while watching a sitcom. The lost and found mail was hilarious to say the least. A chicken freak, he has a huge stock of food in his room always. Always entertaining, he’s one of the best tt players. Even at 4 in the morning, you can see Partha and sunil play. Very very defensive :D . An even excellent bowler who was crucial in us winning the Incredible Premier League. Sunil is very expressive. He can make any incident sound as if he saw it first-hand. :D Hope we catch up in Bombay. Wishing you all success :)

ReplyDeleteI remember how in our first year he used to make Maggi for all his so called ‘Sirs’.. A very very helpful guy to the point of being self-less!
And yes.. the one in our batch-the self-proclaimed ‘Ego Less’ person and I remember MD giving him lecture during Business Etiquettes class about how he needs to develop some amount of ‘Ego’ :P

Seriously, one of the very few people who was actually close to me in this place. Could read me well by the time we had entered 2nd year.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately for him, we have worked together for nearly throughout the 2 years :P .. My memory of this fellow would be the way he used to swear at me for being a workaholic as I smiled back and talked about work as soon as he stopped :P!
Most importantly, he was part of 2 of my biggest passions in this place, TT and bITeSys. Actually having these to occupy me along with sunil kept me running even in the lowest of my days.. His enthusiasm about everything in general and these 2 in particular, is something that has shaped my life here!
I am one big jackass who probably would lose touch, if left alone :P. So, please make sure that you call often and stay in touch. Thanks in advance :P

Mishraaa… Very cheerful, lively and bubbly always but just a littlllle lazy! :P just loves sleeping and eating outside (only chicken!) likes talking to everyone and getting to know people… very friendly and caring in nature… always ready to help his friends… plays awesome TT… very passionate about IT, marketing… and one of the dedicated workers of bitesys… He’s an excellent speaker… makes the presentations very interesting with his style and confidence!

The dude – Sunil. He is a foodie, TT champ, bakar champ and much more. In all, he is great fun to be with. He can lighten any room with his conversation and his exaggeration skills are pretty awesome. He can talk about any trivial thing at such length, with full of excitement that you feel like listening :) But, he can also get serious and work sometimes and when he does, he comes out as really intelligent :) All the best, Sunil! ReplyDeleteI was shocked the day I got to know he was a fresher and even more shocked when I got to know he was in my study group.
Mishra; hamare study group ka bonding factor hai. He has rescued our group many a times, done so many random bakar ppt’s for our group with the CSR ppt being the latest one, in which two from our group were even absent. O Group ka ‘Jaani Dusman’ and has never missed even a single chance to take a dig at them. He is the one who has been beaten by Ramya most often. He had the special talent of sleeping in the class and then suddenly getting up and answering a question (I still have your video).
A paka non vegetarian with Monday being the only saving grace for the chickens. Just love going out with him on Monday and teasing him while having chicken (his reply always would be Jitna tu ek month mein khayega utna main ek din mein kha lunga).
Mishra might seem like a crazy guy to many but he is one of the most level headed guys of our batch. When in problem you can always contact him and he will always go out of his way to help you. A fun loving guy who enjoys with friends but at the same time he is very very sincere when it comes to work.
Mishra ji bhi Kopda Cup organizing team mein the but cheating ki auctions ke time pe .. Within seconds the bid was closed and Mishra was sold to Sana’s team !! (1-2-3 sold… Sunil Mishra sold to Sana…’s team)
He is a great person to hang around with, a big foodie and a super excited person. The best thing about Mishra is he is a completely straight forward person who is either with you or against you; but would never be diplomatic.
Keep rocking dude.. May you get what all you desire in life !!
