Very few people could relate to his poetic and sometimes crappy Gtalk statuses; but I am proud to be one of them. More than the Pcomm factor there is a mind connect that ensures that we understand the Hidden meanings (read double meaning) of our jokes. No doubt his day starts in the night sometimes with errands around the campus. He is definitely a good Investment for a lifetime :) (Hehe I had to use atleast one fin term here) and remember you are perceived smart bcos of me :)
A Fin guru, a diligent Place Commer and an earnest person.. He is truly one of the most sincere and hardworking people of our batch.. Whichever subject you talk about, he is one person who would have surely done his homework.. Having him in the Fin 1 group was the best thing that could have happened, all the cases would be solved even before we would be realise that we had a submission to make. People say that investment bankers don’t have a heart, well this one surely different. Wish you all the best for all your future endeavours!!
Fast learner, very intelligent, Investment Banker, but also very caring. Talk to him whn you are depressed. he can cheer you up for sure and can make you feel confident. Everyone will say fin guru and all but I want you to be love guru soon:P
To keep it short Nitish is an embodiment of talent. He is among those few at IIMS who have managed to strike a fine balance between academic and personal life. I have shared my enthusiasm for Fin with him and Guptaji for the past two years. His upcoming job as an i-banker is just an indication of the bigger things he is destined to achieve. I can very well accompany you when it comes to you innovative way of moulding songs. Someone who is always ready to share beer despite occasion or time. Nitish- The name which strikes me after Katia is 'Geeko'! His never ending love for Finance and I banking will take you by surprise. All the conversations must and will include numbers. A dedicated Placecommer(Congrats for being a successful one even). Always thought for the batch and friends before himself. Selfless and helpful and there by you whenever you need him. Has this funny way of runnning. One guy who wants to show his dimples when clicking a pic. Missed out on so many batch trips but still connected to batch much more than people here. Has this extreme fondness for eggs. Up to give anyone company for a walk, or coffee or going out. You cannot enter F wing and NOT hear him screaming. Has the power to break anything from audi planks to some old basin in the middle of a forest to mess taps to cab's music system to Partha's head. One placecommer, rather the only one whose study group never had problems cz he was always ready with the assignments, always finished work on time. Personally, always been there always. Crystal clear about his ideas. Knows exactly what he wants in life. But bhut kam log hain jo use "samajhte" hain.. :P And I am NOT one of the privileged ones. :P Will always remember our Kaziranga trip and the maggi sessions in the wing. Nitish a fin enthusiast has managed to have great grades, cleared CFA and has enjoyed frequent trips and outings.. all this along with the execution of the duty of a PlaceCommer speaks volumes about his abilities of multitasking. Always willing to learn new things he can be seen engrossed in some thing or the other during and after class hours. He has a chilled attitude for life and can be seen reading animes or listening to music and writing blogs in his leisure time. I know everyone will talk about his finance skills, knowledge and flirting abilities. But if you ask me, I will describe him as a person with a clean heart. He won’t say a word of disrespect to anyone or not shout at them but will address with calm. More famous as Katia for his "dhai kilo" Sunny Deol act.
I admire him for his confidence; it’s very difficult to bog down his confidence. He is always there to help and one selfless guy of the batch. But not to forget, he is a geek, he won’t compromise on his studies. No matter what, he will cry that he hasn’t studied anything even a min before the exam: P :P
Has few patented lines which you find him uttering, “kya chuttiyaap hain”, “bahut kha lia yaar” “aaj to bahut mazaa aa gaya”. Has a unique way of running which you can’t help but to imitate. A guy, who shouts a lot in the wing with a good taste of music, be it rock or even Bollywood and a big Manchester United fan.
Dimple boy of the batch, you will find striking similarities in his photographs, a unique way of posing. He can pose with trees and even with a goal post :P :P He has an ability to break anything which comes his way. Be it some basin or even Payal’s nose :P
A dedicated placecommer who gave his cent per cent to the job; it’s not all; there is more uniqueness about him. His gtalks are always different from the world but have managed to decipher them more often than not :P :-)
He always had a dream of becoming an Investment banker which he has managed to fulfil and I know he will be able to pull it off everything he wants.
Katiyeee… Fellow A –Winger, I know him from the time of talent night where we acted in the same play, danced as a part of RJD. Fellow Finance enthusiast, I have come to know more about him in the 2nd year where we used to attend common classes. It was a pleasure working with him in Exchequer and I really got to know him well during that time.
One thing I would surely remember about him is the way he says ‘Koi nahi be, ho jayega ye, kar lenge’. Be it some competition, assignment, dance or anything, he starts off on an optimistic note. What follows due to his frustration is another thing that I wouldn’t talk about :P :P. Very dedicated and focussed towards some personal goals that he has set and has also been good at carrying out his responsibilities as a placecommer. He is also a very good presenter when it comes to ppts and does it with real ease and confidence.
He is very caring about his friends and does a lot to help them many at times. However, if anyone is not in good terms with him, he/she may not face his good side :P. He is very sharp, intelligent and fast when it comes to grasping new concepts, very comfortable with finance subjects and can easily understand them. Expert at wooing girls :P

I had come to IIM Shillong with a lot of apprehensions. On the flight en-route to Shillong I met this simple guy from Guna who opened the world of MBA to me. I survived the first few weeks in college only due to the support extended by Nitish. Who knew at that time that this friendship would continue and prosper over the period of two years and now as I sit writing about this really awesome guy I have the feeling that life wouldn’t have been the same without him in it.
An I-banker at heart, from day one he knew what he had to do in his career and worked relentlessly in the direction. The main pillar of Group – F. He never shied away from group work giving the excuse of being a Placecomm member. No one can handle fin cases like the way Nitish does. His innate knack for numbers can only be matched with his love for Anime and good movies and music. One should learn how to balance his/her life from Nitish. A dedicated Placecomm member, a sincere student and a fun-loving person; I sometimes wonder what great academic laurels he could have collected if he was not bogged down by the duties of a placecommer.
F-wing would not have been the same without you singing the loud out of tune songs at the dead of the night :) The soul of the late night booze parties, I have rarely seen a person who can chug down their drinks faster than this guy. Nitish is one person in the batch whom you can always go to for help and believe me he will set aside whatever he is doing and go farther than anyone to help you out.

My opp room mate ! one of the first ppl i met here in Shillong .. will never forget the times spent in A wing... The heart throb of the batch.. can whisk away any gal ... I ve always admired his stunning physique.. tall, handsome he has got everything wat a gal wud ask for :) If i could call anyone the perfect IIM material it would be this guy ! he drinks like hell, parties so hard.. dedicated place commer ... and this bloody dog still get grades and is among the toppers of the class!!!! i am in awe of this ability of his .. he can multi task extremley well.. a lot of ppl skip group assignments citing place comm.. but he has never done that .. he has never given place comm as an excuse for any work that he is supposed to do .. that is nitish for u .. extremely dedicated , sincere but still totally out going and fun loving !!! To the perfect IIM grad ... wish u loads f fun and m sure our bond will continue in blore as well !!

That is the fondest memory I have of you till date :) The next one being - time we spent together during Yes Bank - movies (Alice in Wonderland :P), dinners, more movies and bakar :) But bahut dukh hua tha us din jab mera title Sana ko de diya gaya :( Akhir mere 'samajhne' mein kya kami reh gayi thi ;) Whenever I see anyone blush anywhere, I'll definitely be reminded of you and the never ending quest to show that 'cute' dimple in all pics :P But us dimple ke peechhe k angry young man, sincere, Accounts champ ( 48/50 is grade F for you :P), friendly is whom we are all so fond of. You are someone who knows what you want in life in next moment.
