Rishi was my group mate in the past two years and I can say one thing for sure that he is one of the strongest persons in Mathematics and 'Statistics' around ( no doubt he is from IT BHU). He was the person who used to take a lead in Stats part in any project. Apart from his academic potential, he is a die hard Sachin fan who watches his every innings like a live war. This guy is very good at TT and serves at breathtaking speed so I call him Dale Steyn:D:D He has also got a good sense of humour and can make you laugh at times. It was really great to have him as a friend and group member in these two years. All the best dude!!
IT-BHU civil engineer made of cement with a mellow heart inside and addressed by jhaad. Sachin’s AC (yo! PJ). Truly said by Kaustubh ‘Har ek jhaad zaroori hota hai’. Well, he is the person who pulls my leg and teases me the most (he has created some virtual leg-pulling competition with my mom) anywhere and anytime. His main aim of life is to tease me and he achieves excellence in leg-pulling day by day exponentially. Even after reading this blog he will take my case on this also. When he is silent and I ask him if he is alright, then also he starts pulling my leg. Seriously, Jhaad hai. Beside this, he is a very caring ‘doctor’ friend whom you can approach at the middle of the night and wake him up anytime and he will be there for you. A very simple and hardworking guy who has dawa for every dard and now daru also :P. He has always been like a jhaad brother, caring and irritating. Can’t forget the awesome time spend with him (not the leg pulling part). Wish you all the very best in life Jhaad.
Jhaad, that is what I call him, is a person who truly characterizes the word "FRIEND". He is a person who stood beside me, fought with everyone in the last phase of first year when I needed him the most. I still remember the first day I met him, I was surprised to see how much homework he did just to get the right network connection. The 2 years passed like a flash where we faced every good/bad time together be it reading NCERT Accounts book in the initial days, submitting individual assignments, playing TT, shopping at TESCO, going to Happy Valley, pulling each others leg or partying company rejections. He is a kind of person difficult to be found but once found, should be treasured. I assure you Rishi, you will always find place in my good memories of IIM Shillong and your friendship can never be forgotten.. Be in touch..Have a great successful career ahead..
Intelligent, hard-working, cricket freak and devoutly worshipping Sachin- Rishi is a gem of a person. He is perseverant and extremely caring about his friends; and will always get all assignments done before time and help out others with the same. All the best for the future Rishi!
Rishi- The only guy who is more Sachin Fanatic then I am in the college... :P I know him for 2 years- with being Group mates and all- and you have to say- the Guy has amazing Sense of Humour... Be it the mimicry of the "Sadistic Professor" or teasing of Siddhartha and other- it is hilarious.. With Rishi- I have bonded over Sachin, over someone's social loafing, or d "Baugh Jokes" in general.. One thing I can say about the guy is- He's rarely upset or angry... His spirits are amazing... He laughs and makes fun- and takes life easily... The best moment between us has to be definately the Bet we had on Sachin- where due to Calculation error (IIT+IIM Guy and mathematical error.. :P ), He didnt win a Bet on Sachin Stats... :D :D :D Be it working with him on Capstone or other assignements, I enjoyed his company a lot...
Rishi has been my floor mate in both the years. An ardent Sachin fanatic, the only thing that you would see on his laptop wallpaper would be Sachin's picture from childhood till his latest moment of glory. It has always been a joy pulling his leg when Sachin underperformed. In his presence, you will never find anything other than cheerfulness (though sometimes it becomes too much to handle :P).
He is a hard working, sincere, dedicated (his dedication to sachin is a great example) guy. His positive spirit towards life is commendable. I wish him all the best for his future.
Rishi Agarwal - big big fan of Sachin and a fanatic when it comes to cricket and he can be a zealot when it comes to stats about Sachin. The whole PGP10 knows that Rishi is fond of me and he is a very good friend and a better word would be he is a brother to me [:P]. After Sachin, his next obsession would be fluffy cheeks. He jokes a lot and makes hilarious pranks on many people. He is a very lively person on campus and his mimic about Joshi is legendary.
Rishi's wild laughter after his PJs can reverbate the whole floor where he would be standing. His bluntness with faculties is legendary, he can dare to tell any expletive infront of a faculty without worrying and giving a damn to grades. I would always remember when Rishi would wake me up in the morning in the 1st year where every other guy in the wing would find it impossible to wake me up due to my lethargy, but Rishi's aura (read: fear) would make me wake once his steps are heard. He loves Finance and would work hard in his group for the best outcome. His other obsessions include listening to old Hindi songs & searching everyone's hard drives in search for 'New Folders'. Rishi is as fun loving as he is intelligent, he is a very sharp guy and he would be always cool in any situations you find him.
Rishi is a very dear friend to me and I would always look forward to be as jolly as he is. I wish him a very successful career ahead and hope he supplies me stuffs from UB's distillery :). Never change and stay as you are....you rock and you are awesome...
“The C-Wing Rightists” he is and also my next door neighbour. He would get up when others just went to sleep. His real struggle was the “Occupy Bathroom Protest” where he would foil the attempts of my other wingmates for the control of bathrooms in the morning.
A very frank and candid guy. In the first he was famous for his friendship with Rohit. He has been in the role of the “Alarm Boy” for almost a year but has not been suitably rewarded because he wanted the prize in kind. I still remember the time when we stood outside our doors and laughed till hours.
And just to make you jealous. "We" share the same bathroom. :P
"Whay at all..." Some call him sadist, kameena and in some way its kind of justified as his face just radiates mischief... This guy just loves pulling others legs and would never tire of doing it all day...
The biggest sachin fan I have ever seen. He is almost almighty to him.. In fact in all seriousness he might even put sachin above god !!! (Its a different matter though that he lost to priyansh on a simple quiz on sachin [that may in fact be his biggest regret in life :) ])
Very religious as a person, his is one room you would never ever find dirty... One of the earliest people to wake up in the morning (god knows how he manages to do this in a place like shillong).
One of the few Civil Engg of our batch he is a fin-thusiast. He can frustrate a person to an extent that they might want to kill him for that. Would not hear a word against Sachin ( and SRK :P), would love to challenge opponents in TT and would challenge them again even if he keeps losing repeatedly :P Religious and makes it a point to visit the temple atleast once a week. He loves pulling legs of his friends and then a wicked smile will light up on his face. All things said and done he is an understanding, mature and frank person. Wish you all the best for future :)
Rishi is my IT BHU junior who always has shown great respect for me. Many times, he saved me from PJs and tortures of Neha, Maalik and Kaustubh and also had defended on my behalf (Thanks and Please keep doing this always :)).He has a cool mind and an ardent fan of Sachin (Be like this always). His sense of humor and smart and polite tactics to tackle others would make him distinct and unforgettable among his friends. I wish my junior great success in all his future endeavors
I've seen some Sachin fans in my life; hell, I too have been a Sachin fan since the day I started watching cricket - but boy, this guy has taken Sachin-mania & adulation & craze & love & fanaticism & adoration & idolizing to a whole new level altogether. He probably knows more about Sachin's life than even Sachin does. And while most guys have actresses & models as their wallpapers, not him - something that got him into a bit of trouble during Swapan Majumdar's class :D
Rishi is one the coolest guys in our campus. He doesn't give a damn about such things as studies or giving attention to the teachers or trying for that extra mark, etc. He believes in giving respect only to him who deserves respect, and lets his intelligence take him through exams while so many resort to things like flattery or cramming. He has a good sense of humour and loves cracking jokes. And boy does he live a disciplined life - he probably is one of the earliest to rise from bed in the morning in our batch!!! That's one quality I really envy but don't think can ever imbibe :)
Oh, and in case people though his sole obsession in life is Sachin, well, there's another person as well who has caught his imagination like nothing else... I'm sure his response to that would be, "Exactly" :D
Rishi Agarwal: Sach is life, Dawa, Daaru and leg-pulling, need I say anything else. It is believed that half the web searches for Sachin Tendulkar happen from Kashipur, Rishi’s home town: P. He is such a great fan of the Little Master, that if anyone dares to say anything against Sachin during a match, he gives life threatening looks, and does not receive any calls during matches. This person has an innate ability at leg-pulling and somehow never gets tired of it. I have been a victim countless times, and his teasing sometimes goes to irritating levels, but he hardly cares ( a great talent, I must say). He has made fun of me all through these two years for my height, age and not-so-good temper. He is very talented at comparing the various telephone network plans, message packs.:P:P – I always had expert advice at my service. Extremely helpful and caring, he has been there to support me in all my tough times here in Shillong. You can approach him anytime for any help, and he is always ready. Wish you all the very best for the times to come and thank you for bearing with me throughout :)
When I think of rishi, the first thing that comes to my mind is his unthinkable craze for Sachin...he also has a great leg-pulling ability and i have been involved with him quite a few times in teasing tau and few others in the mess.....his mimicry of a particular prof is simply superb....a chilled out and happy-go-lucky person, he is an engineer at heart......equipped with an analytical mind, he will do well wherever he goes..
All the very best and hope you have a great life ahead..:)
People know really well about the two famous people from Bush family, in US viz. Bush Senior and George Bush. But then there is a name from the Bush genealogy in India too. And this famous personality who aims to take liquor Barron (read: Vijay Mallya) is Mr. Rishi Aggarwal akka Rishi Bush (read: 'Jhaar' in Hindi). Definitely, such great personality needs at least 3 lines before the name is being mentioned. He is an semi-IITian, from Banaras and is all set to make United Spirits available to common and masses at rate of Country Liquor ( read 'desi daaru') . Definitely, his vast knowledge in Operations Management has given him this confidence. This guy can speak his mind and heart ( not sure about this ) before anyone and is always sure in giving any person, a mouthful. The most remarkable feature about his nature that he really empathises with anyone who is in pain and is ready to give out his heart who is having 'Dard'. Really if there are few more people of similar kind-hearted then definitely all the 'Dard' shall vanish from this planet. God knows what he would do then. Having cleared IIT-JEE and being a gold medalist from IT/IIT BHU definitely is a hard nut to crack but I have never seen him bragging about his accomplishments. He is really caring towards those people who are not in 'Dard'. God please give him more strength to bear this pain. --> This is an innuendo towards someone whose name I cannot bring on this forum. Those who dont understand please skip the 'dard'-full part. During most of the Bday celebrations, there is some SATANIC intervention and Rishi happen to gain some super-natural power and is ready to demolish the people whom he likes/dislikes. Soon after Bday celebrations, his soul seems to come back to Earth and he can realize the 'Dard' that he caused to people. Rishi though might seem indifferent at times but at heart he is considerate towards everyone ( I am not kiddin ). Wish you all the best Jhaar 'Bush' .
The only civil engineer apart from me in our batch :) Very brilliant, lively and jovial personality… He takes special interest in Neha’s leg pulling.. An ardent cricket lover and more than that Sachin lover..
And not to forget his special skill- doing mimicry of some of our finest profs :)
Wish you all the very best for your journey ahead! Keep smiling always :)
Rishi… the first thing I can remember is the awesome expression of anger he used to show in the first year even if his team loses a single point in TT… so much fun it was to see that :P So much dedication even for a game…!! Respect!!! But of late he has become more jovial and cheerful… and an expert at leg pulling and making fun of people!! Never leaves a chance to do that… A big Sachin fan... he’s so passionate about cricket and Sachin!! Your dedication will help you reach the pinnacles of success… but beware Rishi… even rationality has its limits :P :P Keep smiling and stay happy :)
